Open year round, great custard. Grown up here all my life and when I want something cold and sweet, this is were me and my husband come. Try the Sundays and the banana split. Delicious.

Drive by Leon's, even on a cold winter night, you are likely to find a long line of customers. Delicious custard, malts, sundaes, etc. Make Leon's a destination if you are visiting Milwaukee.

While visiting Milwaukee a local pointed us to this place (over Kopps) for the custard. It was worth the drive to find this neon drive-in with a steady stream of customers. Great custard!!

The appearance is awesome. That being said, there is no seating available. Service was ok at best, I had a young woman who didn't seem to care much about her job or customers. I asked about the burgers which are loose ground meat, I didn't try one. I did get the chocolate custard which was very inexpensive and delicious. It's... More

You can't experience Leon's without trying the chocolate pecan sundae: vanilla custard with chocolate sauce, sprinkled with butter roasted pecans and cherries on top. They refer to it as the chocolate peak. There is nothing like it. This is the first place my husband took me to introduce me to his hometown over 30 years ago, and is my favorite... More

We delayed our departure to head to Chicago so we could go to Leon's first. We arrived 10 minutes early and they had just turned on the lights. Needless to say, we slipped right in (still cleaning up from the overnight snow) and went right to the window. Surprisingly, there were three other vehicles already there enjoying their treats. This... More

There was a big line but it went very fast. The hot fudge and pecan sunday was stupendous. It was a weekday afternoon and the place was jumping with people of all ages. It's a local favorite. Very reasonable prices. You just walk up to the window like any ice cream stand. Definitely worth it.

Read the title of this review again. Leon's is not for food other than Frozen Custard--in fact, to be honest, never had anything other than frozen custard.... Wait, maybe once in the 60's maybe had a chili dog but hey---if you want Frozen Custard, this is the place to. The flavor can't be beat... The other places do mixin's with... More
