Not to be missed! Constant lines attest to the loyalty of their customers Absolutely great! Just a short drive from downtown.
There was a big line but it went very fast. The hot fudge and pecan sunday was stupendous. It was a weekday afternoon and the place was jumping with people of all ages. It's a local favorite. Very reasonable prices. You just walk up to the window like any ice cream stand. Definitely worth it.
Read the title of this review again. Leon's is not for food other than Frozen Custard--in fact, to be honest, never had anything other than frozen custard.... Wait, maybe once in the 60's maybe had a chili dog but hey---if you want Frozen Custard, this is the place to. The flavor can't be beat... The other places do mixin's with... More

Leon's is a classic and a trip back in time with it's drive-in service and 40's style atmosphere. They serve a variety of items, all of which are worth the money and the drive. Get a sundae and a hot dog and just sit in your car with the windows down enjoying the sounds of summer and the bustling crowd... More
It was nice to see a nostalgic place. In NYC almost all these places are gone. The frozen custard was great as was the vanilla malt. The only disappointment was the "spanish burger" It didn't resemble a burger except for the bun, nor did it seem to have any authentic spanish flavor to it. It is definitely worth a stop... More
Leon's is a trip back to the 1940's. Frozen custard was excellent! They have a limited number of other products- hot dogs and the like. All at prices I haven't seen in many a year! No indoor seating available-
Sure, a sundae will cost you $4-6 but its worth it! Very comparable prices to similar places and this one has the nostalgic feel and won't disappoint. No indoor seating but there's something about ordering at the walk up and eating outside or in your car. Definitely stop here if you're visiting Mikwaukee and have a sweet tooth. Side note... More
