My 5-star ranking is based purely on the custard, not the burgers, not the ambiance. Leon's is an institution, rumored by many to be the inspiration for the Happy Days diner, though it would have to be quite a loosely-based inspiration since you can't actually enter Leon's if you're not an employee--you just stand at the window and place your... more

Went last night for some custard and a Spanish hamburger... This place has the closest you can get in WI to a Michigan Coney...except there are no onions. WTF? Anyway it was great. Poppy got her own hot dog which she ate too fast and puked and then ate again. I think she has an eating disorder. more

How the heck is a custard stand in the top ten restaurants in Milwaukee? Okay, okay, we're famous for custard and Leon's is one of the best but they're a drive-in for pete's sake!
