Have visited here before, returned a year later, and food is still outstanding. The place was packed. Drinks were strong. Party had the steer filet stuffed with garlic and the huge shrimp that are the size of little lobsters. The atmosphere is definitely old school Wisconsin supper club, quaint, cozy, and service was spot on. I always look forward to... More

Very disappointed! As avid foodies, my cousins, my wife & I are always looking for somewhere different to go to dinner. After searching for ideas I came across Butch's Old Casino Steak House. Most of the reviews were quite favorable with some not, which is expected. It's been years since we've been at Butch's. I made a reservation & was... More

This place have mouth watering steak. I've been here a number of times. Others eats are great too. Lighting was a little dim. Had a had time reading the menu.

This was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the service was good. The decor was rather eclectic and the history of the building was a part of its charm.

The inside is very interesting to say the least. The food was good but really pricey. For the money I thought it lacked flavor and seasoning. The filet was tender and juicy but no zest. We received excellent service.

Yes, the neighborhood looks dicey. Yes, the building is creepy and windowless. But go there anyway. We walked in and the place looked like the haunted mansion at Disney World. Old pictures and chandeliers and candelabras everywhere . The bar was dark and old and fabulous. Great drinks and in WI you have to have a brandy old fashioned .... More

First visit to Butch's - outside could use a paint job but inside food and service was great! Very good selection of steak cuts generous salads and friendly helpful wait staff. Thanks Cathy! Steer tenderloin very tender and melt in your mouth. Several steak sizes to choose from and also many specials and combos also. While it was our first... More

The food is so delicious! Shrimp are a must try! Marco was the best waiter I've ever had! He's personable, has great recommendations and truly loves what he does.

While on a college visit to UW Milwaukee I took my sons to Butch's as we were staying close by. Not much from the outside the inside is interesting! My martini was perfect and the escargot and shrimp cocktails were spot on! Roquefort dressing on salad was great but the chicken dumpling soup could have had a bit more salt... More
