Tried to go to Pasta Tree with my boyfriend for the first time on a Saturday night around 5:00. The place was pretty empty-- one or two tables occupied and an abundance of wait staff just standing around. The hostess asked if we had reservations and when we responded in the negative she said they weren't taking "walk-in's" till 8pm.... more

My husband and I met a family member for a drink at the Pasta Tree. It took quite a while for the waitress to acknowledge us, and then when she found out what we wanted to have glasses of wine at the bar, she left and never returned. We were finally helped by someone who seemed like the manager, who... more

From my martini to the mussels and the pasta carbonara everything was inedible. Too much vermouth and olive juice in the the martini which was order with a twist and came with three olives of varying size. The steamed mussels were gooey and tasted of powdered garlic. The pasta with pasty and over garliced as well. more

Ive always been partial to the Pasta Tree. Living off the success of their food, not their location. Their organization and atmosphere lacked before their new addition, but since the addition I have been satsified with how I have seen the restaurant grow. It is very warm and inviting. And not too mention, very tastey wine selections that pair well... more

I took my boyfriend here for a date night. The food was amazing - I highly recommend the vodka sauce with spinach pasta, and the manicotti with meat sauce was great too. Also try the sangria (they make it fresh!). The atmosphere was slightly less amazing. At first the host sat us at a table next to the main pathway... more

I live in the Brady street area and have been to the Pasta Tree twice now. The first time was enjoyable, as I was seated in their small outside area and had a friendly waitress. My most recent experience lacked many of the things I would expect when eating at an upscale Italian restaurant. My fiance and I arrived around... more

This place is a pleasure. Always a little wait but it is worth it. The dishes are big and fully of taste! more

My husband and I used to live on the east side of Milwaukee and dined here a few times per month for many years. We hadn't been for a few years, but went when we were in town last night. The food is not nearly as good as it used to be. Although the menu is quite similar to what... more

I've been a patron for over 15 years and noticed the past few years some changes and not for the better. The new owners changed the recipes including the size of the pasta strands as well as the portion size. One visit the salad was pretty wilted with obvious brown areas. I keep going back to see if things have... more
