Not our first trip to the Pasta Tree. It's a quaint little restaurant, lay out is a bit odd, two narrow long seating areas connect at the back of the restaurant, near the kitchen, and they do like to space the tables close togther. It's not a bother, and its not like your bumping into the people next to you.... More

Food was delicious. Fried mozzarella was like none I have ever had. Not sticks; large triangular slabs breaded just right. Chicken Pesto with Spinach pasta was a treat after tomato basil soup and bread with garlic butter which is on the table for a starter. Make a reservation, they get busy. Parking on the street is easy to find. Fun... More

My family and I recently relocated to Milwaukee from New Jersey, the mecca of Italian restaurants. Our real estate agent recommended this gem and so far her batting average is 100% Our server, Bridget, was truly one of the best restaurant professionals I have ever encountered. She was thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu and wine. When we were debating between... More

Don't go here. I'm sorry but this place was awful. 1st the hostess was rude and seemed miserable in her job. I even overheard another table comment on her attitude problem. Second the tables were really crammed and uncomfortable. Third we walked through the kitchen to be seated and the floors were dirty. I prefer to eat from restaurants with... More

After being to this restaurant several times, I was shocked to see such a high amount of negative reviews. Every time I have been there my experience has been great, service and food has always been amazing and the chocolate cake is simply the best I have ever had. Honestly the best restaurant I have been at in Milwaukee, and... More

There was three in our dining group and we all enjoyed our meal and drinks. It is a quaint house type restaurant. The main area where the small bar is located is very lovely. We were unfortunately seating in another part which isn't as nice, but we got over that and enjoyed each other's company. The food was very good.... More

We went there for my wife's birthday, half of the restaurant was empty on a weekend! We should've taken the clue, but we wanted to venture further, parking and location a big C too. Server Sam- Samantha was awesome, very good suggestions. Food was just average but very expensive, Pasta was UNDERCOOKED, had to send it back Two kids, two... More

If you are somewhat discerning about what you put in your mouth and stomach, do not eat here. The food was nearly inedible. The service upon arrival was awful. We were greeted with one word: "reservation?", followed by the the hostess walking away without a word; we stood at the front for several minutes. When she came back, she said... More

The pasta here is delicious! But the food is over-priced. $18 for cheese tortelleni? Yikes. But the homemade egg pasta is so good - I'd say best pasta in Milwaukee. I'd recommend the Artichoke Cream or Fresh Basil Pesto Cream. Both are delicious! Service has been mediocre. And yet, I have been there three times. Just the right kind of... More
