If it is an anniversary, birthday, promotion, etc., this is the place to celebrate! French food can be intimidating, but as always, the Bartolotta group makes it the perfect night! We have taken both of our teenage daughters with us and it is their favorite Milwaukee restaurant as well. Yes, it is pricey and we don't eat here but once... More

We made reservations on the recommendation of numerous friends. We were seated promptly and at a table near the window. It went down hill from there. Our service was horrible as we had to ask for water twice and also bread. We also had to ask for wine with our dinner. The french onion soup was excellent, but my husbands... More

I've come here many times and never written a review. This past week, I came here with family to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The food was perfect, service was very good and the atmosphere was beautiful. I love how their menu evolves but you can still always find some of your favorite things. They also know how to... More

I visited with 3 business associates. The restaurant was decorated tastefully and I knew immediately that I was in a nice place. The waiter was very versed on the meals and menu. I was impressed. I had the french onion soup as a starter. Very good and not too salty. Salmon cooked med/rare as ordered. Also very good. A ribeye... More

We experienced a lovely romantic evening here thanks to a former local resident who recommended it to us. Our reservation was made through OpenTable and we were seated at the appointed time at a window table with a stunning view through the summer foliage toward the lake. Our waitress was friendly and a true professional, however, the service was very... More

Excellent cuisine with a decidedly French emphasis. Request a table in the room with a view of Lake Michigan for a romantic evening. The service was attentive, although there were some servers in training who had some difficulties, but everyone has to learn.

Birthday's & anniversaries require you to step it up a notch or two. LPB is uber-elegant and extremely beautiful, in both the scenery and the food. When yo want to experience a memorable meal, this is THE place to go in MKE.

We made last minute reservations for dinner at the Lake Park Bistro to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. We have had a long history with the LPB, our daughter even having been married there. We arrived late (crazy bad fog, road construction, and a Brewer game conspiring against us) to a packed restaurant and wound up at an interior table in... More

Lake Park Bistro was the ONLY restaurant my spouse and I would go to for special occasions when we lived in the Milwaukee area. That being said, we decided to make the 5 hour drive to celebrate my birthday. We were a little apprehensive about making such a long trip only to find out that it wouldn't be as great... More

Wonderful food. Country French. Atmosphere is loud and a bit noisy. Lots of staff but I felt somewhat cold. Hard to explain. You will feel it when you go. They have a two server approach. Of the two Elizabet (no T) was better. Seemed more attentive and friendly. The French onion soup is a must even if you are not... More
