Sunday Breakfast was the BOMB !

I have been to this restaurant many times for Holidays or Dinner, but recently went twice for breakfast. It was perfect and wonderful. I had a Buckwheat Crepe with eggs and it was delicious. My breakfast partner had Eggs Benedict and said it was an absolutely perfect meal.

The staff was better this time. The gentleman actually asked how we were doing this evening and WAITED for an answer. The young lady assisting filled in during the moments we did not see him. Service was good but I did feel rushed. My meal was the four course Menu du Chef. My dinner partner had just the main course... More

I was reminded last night about why I love this place so much. The scenic location, the warm and lively interior, the exceptional service and of course the food!! Delicious fish and steaks although I love the roasted chicken too. Wonderful cheese selection, delightful soups and lovely desserts if you leave any room for them. The vibe of the restaurant... We ate in the periphery as the main dining area was empty. I asked if it was reserved for a large party but was told that it was an uncharacteristically slow Saturday and all the guests asked to be seated outside the main dining area. Interesting response, as we were given no option where to sit and would have preferred... More

We were here in October for a wedding. The ceremony was outdoors, although it was a cool, overcast day, the area of the grounds where the ceremony took place was adequately protected. The venue was spacious, allowing pre- dinner drinks and appetizers to be served separate from the dining area. The food was excellent. Staff were well organized & attentive.... More

We attended a family wedding and had a great time! The ceremony was outside on the lawn; cocktails were then served on the patio, and then dinner and dancing inside. All the food was terrific and everything seemed to flow smoothly.

Maybe American people think this is French food but this is not. Except for the appetizer (pâté de campagne) which was good, my whole meal was a disaster. What they sell a s a "tournedos" (a piece of tender red beef) is not a tournedos, the sauce was full of salt and the desert had no taste (parfait à la... More
