Most Romantic Restaurant

This is the ultimate place to take a date or celebrate a special event. Try to get a window side table (hard to get, so make your reservation in advance), the view of Lake Michigan is spectacular. The food is exceptional as well as the service. It's somewhat expensive, but well worth the experience.

An old friend and I met up in Milwaukee yesterday to visit the art museum and have lunch. A friend recommended this restaurant and we are forever indebted. It has a lovely location in a beautiful park, the menu is full of appealing options, the bread and butter are superior and the service was exemplary. All that and the special... More

We made reservations to celebrate our anniversary. When we got there, a window table was ready for us with a card thanking us for spending our anniversary with them. The food was delicious. My husband had the mushroom and egg salad and said he would have been content with just it. I had the trout special and it was incredibly... More

Great location on a bluff overlooking the north end of the park north of Bradford beach and Lake Michigan. Generally a white linen table cloth kind of place, it is Milwaukee and they are happy with everyone. The staff is attentive and you will see Joe Bartolotta at times (at least we did on last visit). The Bartolotta Group operates... More

Paper table covers over linen. Folks in gowns and ties, as well as cutoffs and tanktops. This restaurant does a great job of blending excellent food and wine with a welcoming atmosphere. You'll see serious people dressed to the nines, after work meetings for the office, casual walkers, all in one place here. A people-watcher's paradise, not unlike sitting in... More

This was our third visit to the Lake Park Bistro, having visited during the USA Triathlon National Championships the past two years. This may have been our best experience to date. We were initially seated at a table 15 feet from the window, but our fantastic waiter, Paul, immediately moved us next to the window. It was a beautiful evening... More

Just happened to visit on the evening of the 20th anniversary celebration. Absolutely exceeded all expectations. A six course tasting menu was presented that would rival anything in Chicago or New York.

We made our first visit to Lake Park Bistro recently and our expectations were surpassed. Our server was personable, knowledgeable, and prompt. He took the time to explain the wines and why he was suggesting the ones he was. I generally veer away from French cuisine, but the visit has opened new avenues for me. The chilled arugula soup, baked... More

We were impressed with the selection and preparation of French dishes at this wonderful lakeside restaurant. The service was quite attentive and the server very informative and knowledgeable regarding the restaurant's history and the dishes offered. This was a very pleasant enjoyable lunch.
