Great food, beverages, and accommodations. But best of all was the service. I ordered an Irish Coffee, then stepped out for a few minutes. When I returned, the bartender apologized for the now cooling beverage, tossed it out, and immediately made me a new one, piping hot. The wait staff all lived up to the bartender's standard, too. Very nice Irish Pub/Restaurant. Enjoyed the dinner we had and the free breakfast that was included in our room overnight.

My wife and I dropped our son off at UWM after Thanksgiving break and wanted to take him for a good meal. We based our decision for County Claire on Trip Advisor coupling the proximity to our sons dorm and the #15 rating on TA for Milwaukee restaurants. Out son had Shepherds Pie that was loaded with shredded beef but... More

We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to see the large vegetarian menu. Normally there's maybe one or two items at pubs that are veggie friendly but this place had lots of options. We ordered the cheese plate, veggie shepherd's pie and the "chicken" open faced BBQ sandwich. All were delicious and filling. The pie was the favorite... More

We were staying in the hotel and had a late dinner and breakfast there. The breakfast was included in the hotel charge. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Less impressed with dinner. We arrived to dinner about 9:45p, not realizing that the kitchen took the last order at 10. When we were seated, we weren't told that so didn't get... More

We stayed at the hotel, so we ate here twice for an early dinner and breakfast the next day. The actual room provided us with a mixed reaction. Some elements of the restaurant were lovely: wood panelling, an open and airy ceiling. There also seemed to be a very nice patio in summer. Other elements were a bit too theme-park... More

Bloody Marys were awesome, the food was as well! Complimentary breakfast for hotel guests!! Traditional Irish breakfasts, a small menu, but something for every taste!

We spent a Friday and Saturday at the County Clare and had a great time. The pub is nice and the rooms are very nice, you can see a picture of your room when you book online to see the color scheme used, seems to be different for each one. We stayed in 202 and it had a decent bed... More
