Incredible experience

This restaurant specializes in small plates of deliciously creative dishes. You can just keep sampling until you are full. We must have ordered 12 different plates for our group of 6 and had a great memorable time

Absolutely fantastic restaurant - the vibe of this place is best described as inviting. The staff, the decor, the layout and most importantly the food invites a sense of comfort. Every plate brought to our table was plated to near perfection and the food was close to lick your plate worthy. For sure worth a visit.

Four of us met at this interesting restaurant on 2nd Street. We ordered eight small plates. Each plate was beautifully presented and was tasty. The tongue tacos helped me overcome my dislike for tongue, which all goes to show that food in the hands of creative chefs can be amazing. Our seasonal rhubarb everything was a surprise presentation and a... More

If you are a foodie who likes to try new things and enjoy different tastes - this place is a 10 !!! The menu is varied and creative. We tried about 8 different dishes between the two of us and everything was great. I can't wait to go back and try others!!!!

I really enjoyed this place, my boyfriend is a bit more picky and really didn't like it. All locally grown, locally sourced food. Cute, charming atmosphere. Loved the cheese tray and assortment of wines. Loved the small plates, so I could try a few different things. Interesting, seasonal choices with ever changing menu. If you like to try new things... So I love the concept of the restaurant. They use local farmers and services to supply the restaurant. However, we made reservations in a Thursday and we put in the corner way in the back of the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant was not in that corner next to the exit door and back stairs. Make sure to call... More

Robert, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the service at Braise and your table. We have removed that table from the back room. As much as a restaurant focuses on food the real key is the staff and service. I don't know what happened with your server treating you rudely. I always try to instill at every pre-shift meeting with... More

I liked the decor and the simplicity of the food. Service was excellent too. However, I did feel that the menu was not large enough - we had limited choice. They did have a good selection of Scotch (at least the ones I liked), but there were only three to choose from. Reasonably priced in my opinion and worth covering... More

Just great food, service, and atmosphere. We loved the tapas style menu and can't wait to get back to Milwaukee to eat here again.

Loved Braise! We enjoyed a great tapas style dinner with friends. Wonderfully prepared local ingredients. Staff was nice, they even gave a free dish that they made by mistake. Decent selection of wines but I didn't recognize any.

There was nothing on the menu - not one thing - I would order or eat. Staff was helpful. No review. Restaurant is in old bowling alley. Floor and tables reclaimed wood from bowling lanes.
