You know it's going to be good when there is a 30 min wait in a Monday morning

YUM YUM! Came here for breakfast based in the reviews and was not disappointed. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. The eggs Benedict was incredible--the hash browns are a must try. Check it out if you are visiting Milwaukee. Oh, and the Monkey bread....Devine!

The best part of eating at Blue's Egg is the hash browns, whether you order them standalone or as a side. The hardest part is deciding which flavor combination you want. Everything is delicious, wait staff makes you feel at home immediately and everyone's in a good mood because they know the hash browns will be crispy. Just they way... More

Blues is a favorite for business and family. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. They have been universally knowledgeable about the menu. The menu itself is varied, with options to satisfy any breakfast plate - from the healthy to the hearty. Moreover, once you add in the daily specials, there is something almost always unexpected. The highlights include the in... More

I have been to Blues Egg probably 25 times as well as their 3 other restaurants. Overall my experiences have been excellent. Yes, at times I have had less than stellar service but it's rare. I have read some of the negative reviews and folks there is a reason you can sometimes wait up to 45 minutes to get a... More

Blue's Egg seems rather out-of-the-way to those of us from out of town, but it's clear that many Milwaukeeans have chosen this to be a regular stop on their routes about town. We visited in late spring, on a little bit cool morning, and were pleased to be allowed to wait at cafe tables outside with hot mugs of coffee.... More

A funny name for a great place to truly enjoy a meal. Very popular, so come early and enjoy your coffee while you wait for a table. People who eat here tend to be a very friendly sort, so you may meet some interesting new friends (if you choose). Honestly, a good meal in the times I have been there:... More

We chose this restaurant for breakfast based on the great reviews it has received. It was just delicious! We had about a 15 minute wait on a Sunday morning & while waiting, we were able to help ourselves to fresh hot coffee. The classic eggs benedict with cheese & shredded ham was the best I've ever had! The monkey bread... More

My husband and I recently broke down and waited 1-1/2 hours for a table on a weekend. We had never tried BE but had heard how fabulous it was. I doubt that we'll be back. Our entrees were good, but not great, and certainly not worth the price. It's really an expensive breakfast. I had a berry french toast concoction... More

My wife and I had breakfast at Blue's Egg on a week day , because there is such a long line on the weekend to get a table . The food was very good and the service was great without any wait for a table at 9:00AM on a Tuesday . Some of the menu selections are eclectic combinations ,... More

Blue's Egg takes ordinary breakfast offerings and prepares them with incredible love. The food here is amazing, and although the restaurant itself has the coffee shop appearance, this is no ordinary breakfast spot. Inquire about any specials, but don't hesitate ordering what sounds familiar too, as I'm sure you'll be in for quite the treat. Blue's Egg is a great... More
