They are only open for breakfast and lunch and are very popular. There is almost always a wait, especially on weekends. The waitstaff is always knowledgable about the food and attentive to your needs. The food is great, fresh and just different enough to be memorable. They serve a great Mimosa.

Brunch isn't really that hard to do, but Blues Egg nails it, and uplifts the classics to elegance. Be prepared to wait on the weekends for sure, this place is always packed.

It's a very small and VERY popular restaurant, so be prepared to wait a bit! The food was really good, I got Eggs benedict which was totally delightful. The coffee was good as well and it was a really nice atmosphere. Service was nice, they were quick, polite and helpful. I took my Aunt from California, I asked her if... More

I haven't found a single entrée that isn't amazing but my favorite is the roast mushroom strata. Coffee is great. Excellent omelette choices and very good hash browns.

They don't take reservations. So my suggestion is plan on arriving an hour early. For mother's day our wait was 2-1/2 hours! But the food is high class and worth the wait. Because the restaurant was so busy (we were in the back room which is just as nice as the front area), the noise level for me made it... More

This place was a bit hard to find. The address was easy it was just a bit difficult to spot in the strip mall. The interior is OK but that was the ONLY average aspect to this meal! We were seated immediately, our waiter was personable and exceptionally helpful. We all ordered something different and everything was amazingly good! My... More

Last wednesday we went to Milwaukee to see the Domes. But first we went to a little art gallery on N.76th st. I asked someone there if they could suggest a restaurant in the area. They suggested Blue's Egg which was right next door in a little strip mall. Wow, we are so glad we stopped. We had breakfast and... More

To begin with, there was a 35 minute wait just to get in the door. Once seated, the waiter had a weird misdemeanor about him and the first thing we ordered he forgot to ever bring it. We ended up canceling that item after receiving our food. I have to say that the portions are very large but the food... More
