I came in for lunch and was told there would be a 20 minute wait, but that it was first-come, first-serve at the counter. I waited for about 6-7 minutes and then got a seat, ordered a few minutes later, and got my food about 10 minutes later. I had the hashbrowns stuffed with olives and goat cheese. They were... More

We went on a Saturday morning, so we expected a wait. Our group of 4 was quoted 45 minutes, and waited very nearly twice that to get seated. We were expecting brunch, but they serve lunch items only M-F, so plan for breakfast if you're there on the weekend. No ding for that, but worth being aware of. We were... More

This place is breakfast heaven. Need I say more, no, but I will. Before my trip to SummerFest, July 3 & 4, I did my Trip Advisor homework and found this place. It's rated #3 of all restaurants in Milwaukee and all I have to say is #1 & #2 must be pretty darn good because this place has its... More

Breakfast places are a common place... And most have the same stuff. Blues egg is different... While you can get the ordinary stuff, what you need to try are the stuffed browns. Omg they are wonderful. Imaging an omelette but instead of eggs the outside is crispy, golden brown hash browns. Some are stuffed with goat cheese and all kind... More

Blue's egg is a place where many go, as you will see on a weekend, waiting to get a table. Breakfast is different and pricey but really good. They have a nitch in the market as a high end, high quality, fantastic service kind of a place. Most eateries strive for this and Blue's gets it totally. Great place, great... More

Our first time here; Friday afternoon near closing time (2:00pm) so we thought it would not be crowded-wrong! But in a good way. Our wait was short. Our server was friendly, prompt and answered our menu questions. I had the stuffed brown-thick hash browns split open then topped with cheese, ham and arugula. Very crispy hash browns-yum. I ordered an... More

Based on the reviews here, we expected an excellent experience. It wasn't awful, but missed the mark in several areas. The homemade English muffins were undercooked and gummy, my husband Hoppel Poppel was a jumble of just okay food piled on the plate. My Potato Pancakes also had too many things on the plate.

I came here with a friend after running in the Rock and Sole 5k. We knew the place was popping when we saw the parking lot. I actually had to park across the street, but no problem; it was a great June day. We were told our wait would be 30-45 minutes but based on reviews on Yelp & the... More

My family of 6 is from Atlanta, and we took a day trip while camping near Chicago up to Milwaukee to check out the city. Based on TA reviews, we chose Blue's Egg for lunch. My kids are 10, 13, 15, 16, and all will agree that this is one of the best meals they have eaten. I had a... More

Had the hoppel poppel which has scrambled eggs, cream, zesty sausage, cherry-wood bacon, caramelized onion, shredded potatoes, spinach, hollandaise. No complaints. My wife had the Potato Pancakes that come with homemade loose-meat turkey sausage, fried eggs, cheddar, crème fraîche which I thought was fantastic. Very large place the has seating outside and inside with a very large room in the... More
