Great Alternatives for the Vegetarian Life!!!!

There are so many things I love about Hue in Bay View! I frequent them often for Pho as they have great alternatives of 'veggie meat' that really taste great! This goes right down to appetizers and main meals too. My favorite is anything with the garlic lemongrass marinade.. it is to die for... read more

As my and my cousin entered we was ignored with seating, it took quite a while to be seated and seats were available. Next we brought a bottle of wine once seated and was given dirty wine glasses, we asked for new ones and the bartender wasn't happy about that. However the waiter tried to accommodate us as much as... More

We have only done take out here about three times. The food tastes very fresh and zesty. I'd be happy with this level of quality in any city. We will definitely be back!

I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is very consistently good. I have been to their other restaurant in Wauwatosa which is more spacious and has an outdoor patio. The pho is delish and the other dishes are just as savory. It's not your traditional Vietnamese, but more tempered in taste and portions. I still very much... More

As a new resident of Bayview, I've tried several times to make myself love this place. I figured...ooo a hipster Vietnamese bistro, can't wait to try their steak/meatball pho. The pho is good, but not what I was expecting for the price. The broth is good, but the meatballs are like rubber. Any time I order pho at a traditional... More

My first experience was lunch and we shared "small plates"/ The staff were most pleasant and extremely helpful in guiding our ordering. My second time I was there, happenstance, with my daughter in the early evening. The food was fresh, tasty and very filling...it was a three-item special, well priced and very tasty!

So, I will admit this is my second trip here. It was an accident as I didn't remember that I have already tried this place-with disappointing results. Since over a year has passed, I wanted to have an open mind and consider that maybe it got better. So, turns out not so much. The service was friendly but the Pho... More

I have family and friends still in a couple parts of WI and each visit I try to make a point at stopping two places one of which is Hue. Hue is just that kind of place... a must stop. Eat here once and you will simply fall in love and return again and again! You will crave their food!... More

Hue has a very pleasant atmosphere. Service was friendly and very efficient. We just had a "standard" dish, nothing fancy -- a bowl of pho, with steak. We got giant, steaming, flavorful portions, with the usual accompaniments (bean sprouts, jalapeño peppers, limes and ??lemongrass??) The soup was very delicious! The menu is not as extensive as some other Vietnamese restaurants... More

We went for lunch last Friday afternoon (7/3/2015) at Hue's second location in Wauwatosa. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is just as good as the original location. We started with Spring Rolls and the Short Ribs - the flavor in both were divine! I had one of the lighter egg noodle dishes and it had just the right... More
