Good grub, good price

We recently visited Stubby's for dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting typical bar food but the menu was quite diverse and extensive. Wonderful time with friends having great beer and food. Had the cheese curds and then bluegill sliders and meatloaf sandwiches. Everything great, can't wait to come back for the fish fry. Excellent service by Jon and guided us along a wonderful culinary journey of great beer cheese and food. Thanks for the hardon of a dinner

I would say there's nothing special about this place. We at dinner at about 9pm and that must be right about the time the back-up cook shows up. I had the pulled pork and it was dry and lacked BBQ sauce. The cole slaw wasn't even that good. It too was dry and lacked dressing. My fiancee had the chicken... More

I went here with a group of 6 friends after going to the theatre. We arrived just before 6 pm after we tried a couple of other places and couldn't get in without reservations. We were seated right away, but at a table with tall chairs, so that wasn't really ideal. There were other tables with nobody seated at them,... More

Four of us went to Stubby's for dinner recently. We had checked the menu online and it sounded very interesting so we thought we would try it. We were disappointed for a couple reasons. First, it was horribly loud in the place, such that I could not hear the people who were sitting right across the table from us! We... More

I have heard of this place due to their selection of craft beers but only thought it was a wing place for some reason! So sorry! Not an only large menu which I like. Also, went on Fat Friday and we tried their burgers, wings and their jambalaya which was delicious, probably the best I have ever had in restaurant... More

A group of friends and I attended my fiances birthday dinner at Stubbys on jan 31st. The food was good however we were extremely disappointed by the service. Our waitress was attentive however the manager was extremely disrespectful and completely out of line. My food came late, in fact it arrived after our bill had arrived and been paid for.... More

Wisconsin is Packer country and on game day, good luck geting a seat in a sports bar. WIth that in mind, I decided to go a little off the beaten path and that brought us to Stubby's. Part bar, part great food and a generous selection of craft beers on tap. (Plus they had the Packers on all 10 TVs!)... More

I made reservations online, so easy! Table for 6 was ready when we got there. The guys all liked the beers the bartender recommended. They put a twist to the standard Brandy Old Fashion. Really good! The chicken standwich was very good, although a bit more tomato paste would have been good. The burgers where amazing...and huge! Start with the... More

I was in Milwaukee this past Saturday with three girlfriends celebrating my birthday. We had lunch and drinks at Stubby's before heading to Lakefront Brewery for a tour (just a 5-minute walk). Brad and the gang did an awesome job! The whiskey old fashioneds, bloody mary's, and craft beers were delicious. The pulled pork nachos were to die for, the... More
