I hadn't been here in quite some time. We went on a day that schools were closed, so my kids could have the lunch buffet which is not available on weekends. There seemed to be more options than there were two years ago. They had done some redecorating and rearranging of the restaurant. It was pretty full. Unfortunately, the plantains... More

The food is fresh, the portions are great and the variety is great. Try the weekly lunch buffet to same a wide variety of great food.

Mekong is great. I usually order take-out, since the atmosphere inside the restaurant is a bit drab (or at least, there are not too many people in there so it feels a bit empty). They have excellent, flavorful Thai food. The Yum Woon Sen is great, as is the Ban Cuon. I also recommend the red, green, or yellow curry.... More

The volcano duck was an incredibly wonderful entree. Lots of options with vietnamese, laotian and thai sections in the menu. A bit on the pricey side but great portions.

Initially, I was intrigued when they advertised their food as authentic laos, vietnamese, thai food. I ate there twice, and I regret that I went back the second time. I had their buffet special to go, and I was impressed by their red curry dish. I agree this was authentic, so I decided to go back there a second time... More

We typically order for pick-up; the restaurant is pleasant, on North and 60th, and service is friendly. There is a delivery option. Food is fresh and good, adequately spicy; we like spicy food and unlike the other reviewer found it way too spicy above a 2 on their 4 point scale, so I would try 1 or 2 first time.... More

The lunch buffet is an adventure in several cuisenes. It could be asia, indian or middle eastern.

Mekong is a nice restaurant. I've been there several times. sometimes their service is slow, but the food is good. Their buffet options are nice, hot and plentiful.

They had an entree on the menu that I really wanted to try, but unfortunately they would not make it vegetarian. Being vegan, it's difficult for me to find restaurants I can eat at, so when I find one that is accommodating, I am a repeat customer. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant unless I was in the... More
