Fresh craft beer and wonderful food

We went for the beer and the funny name. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. Great food in large quantities and they know what they are doing in the microbrewery.

We had a great meal and the service was awesome. Very helpful in picking out my flight. Big Fan! We will be back soon. This is why we came to Milwaukee

We bought a $30 groupon that was supposed to be a 51% savings: two tasting paddles, two glasses, and a growler to go. I was thinking that's a little steep for $60, but it must be a big glass growler...WRONG. We received two samplings ($10 a piece), two logo glasses ($8), a plastic 32 oz. growler ($2) and a fill... They have a great variety of beers, love the beer flight so you can pick what you like best. Their food is more like bar food, but so good and more upscale. They have a HUGE pretzel to munch on, great brisket chili (even my husband from TX loved it!) and good atmosphere - especially if you can sit outside... More

If you read a lot of Horny Goat reviews, you'll see a common theme: Terrible service. Considering this trend has continued for years, I doubt the owners are in any rush to address the issue. I'm guessing they rest their laurels on the fact it's a "fun" environment and has a nice ambience of being by the river. So, if... More

I'm a little sad having to write this review because the Horny Goat is such a great venue and was always one of my go to summer spots. My boyfriend and I went for the fish fry because we remember enjoying it last year. We were expecting a wait for a table but the place was only about half full.... More

We went for my adult daughter's birthday. Wife and daughter has the fish fry which they liked. I had the Cobby salad topped with Salmon which was very good and quite interesting. The beers were all great and we had fun sampling all the flavors. Service was very good. Would go back for sure. Looks like it would be even... More

Baconfest is always a good time at the Horney Goat but it was way over priced this year :( The special was $75 for 2 people but that was really out of line for what you get. You could really tell too because the number of people was way down this year. They eliminated the band this year and the... More

I went to the Horny Goat for New Year's Eve night. All you can drink from 9-1 a.m. It was outside underneath an enclosed tent. It was pretty cold, even in the tent. We listened to the band, Bella Cain, had some drinks, counted down to midnight and got out of there. The lines for the little bar were insane... More

A group of 8 friends had a night planned out... starting at Horny Goat and lets just say our night started off in a disappointing way. We heard so much about this place and how good the food was. Well no one ever mentioned anything about the poor service we received while on the 2nd floor. Waited for everything and... More
