Beers and Appetizers on Patio

The whole place is pretty cool. Location, atmosphere, etc. The nachos were awesome. Our first vodka drinks were watered down. Beer was good, but warm. Will give it another shot when we come back to Milwaukee. Our server was very good.

Wife and I love this place. Good service, great food & beer. Boats can dock on the river and walk in. Outdoor area is awesome!

Went for Friday Fish Fry. The good: Our entrees included the baked fish and chicken tenders. Cod was excellent, coleslaw (mayo based) was excellent, tots were excellent, chicken tenders were excellent (actual pieces of breaded chicken breast), waffle fries were excellent, lemonade (more homemade type) was excellent, tartar sauce was excellent, chunky applesauce was DELECTABLE! The bad (but not too... More

Met some friends on a Saturday afternoon. Sat on the patio, ate dinner and enjoyed some beer. I never went inside so not sure what that looks like, but the outside patio was very nice. Staff was friendly. Beers were good but they were out of a couple popular ones so I was a little disappointed, but the other beers... More

We've been to the Horny Goat for a business event and I was not impressed with the food, service or atmosphere. We went to the Food Truck gathering 7/12/15 and it was about 6 or so food trucks on a large gravel lot, a d.j. in the corner, a few resin tables (not nearly enough for the guests. We ate... More

On the Kinnickinnic River in Milwaukee, this bar and grill offered a great location for our after dinner drinks. We found the staff lacking however, so brought my review down. We could not get service and felt like we were a bother to the wait staff. It's a great bar with a large outdoor seating area. Sand volleyball courts were... More

The Horny Goat is designed for a younger crowd with indoor volleyball courts. But it is a nice spot to pull in your boat to sit and have a cocktail or a beer. They have a nice beer selection as is typical in the Milwaukee pubs. The food was fairly typical for pub food. The outdoor seating and view along... More

We had lunch at The Horny Goat this weekend. The place was packed. We didn't mind our 30 min wait, as there are nice outdoor seating areas/firepits to sit around. We got lucky and scored a table on the patio right on the river at their marina. It was fun to watch the drawbridge nearby go up to allow tall... More

Definitely a spacious venue including sand volleyball and bags. Located on the river, so you can enjoy a cocktail, while enjoying the boats go by, without feeling crunched. A great place if you have a large group. The food was good and the service was quick.
