Burgers were definitely good. Not the greatest in the world, but very good. We thought the prices were fair, and the service was excellent. If you want a good burger (or other sandwich), this is a place worth stopping! Note: they DO get busy. If you show up at 11am, you'll likely walk right in and find a great seat.... More

but certainly not the best. it was average with nothing to recommend a second visit…it was a hamburger that was pretty standard. now, the best part of this place is their root beer float - i would make a meal out of the root beer float - have 2 or 3 of those! to simply die for - wow -... More

This is a small place but it adds to the charm. I came here on a Sunday to try the bloody mary as I had heard they were quite good. I sat at the bar and the bartender was kind enough to share a little about the restaurant and city from a young person's perspective. The bloody mary was great-... More

Great burger joint with menu that is filled out like a checklist. Burgers, fries (regular and sweet potato) cheese curds and onion rings all very good (beer too!). Very comfortable, low key service. A regular stop on future Milwaukee visits!

As soon as I knew that a bloody had a burger in it, it became a goal of mine to get eat/drink this. I was in the final moments of my trip when I found a way to get to AJ Bombers and I was glad I did. I loved the burger topped bloody mary and the side of cheese... More

We enjoyed everything about the restaurants. The peanuts, the cheese curds, we tried different burgers including the barrie burger with peanut butter. Good beer selection and great custard. It is not very big so get there early. The service was also very good.

From minute one, I was in love with this little place. It wasn't so loud but everything from lighting to noise level was comfortable. The staff here are exceptionally friendly. We hadn't eaten here before so they took their time explaining the menu which we really appreciated. That was before the best burger showed up at our table. It was... More

Finally made it to AJ Bombers, and it was worth the wait. The burgers are fantastic! You also get free peanuts while you wait -- throw the shells on the floor! Decent craft beer selection. The sides (fries, tots) are a pretty big helping, so you could probably split them with whomever you are with.

This place is great! It is a small restaurant, you will have to wait but it is worth it (recommend calling ahead and getting your name on the list). These burgers are the best. My 10 year old said "This is the best burger I have ever had and may be the best I will ever have in my life".... More

We decided to try AJ Bombers while I was in town. We were disappointed when we were seated outside since it was a little chilly that day and the picnic tables were still covered in shade. While we waited to be seated we loved the atmosphere of the inside dining room, there was lots of music and laughing and it... More
