For dinner, the wine and beer list extensive, the food very creative, both my husband and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

I was celebrating my recent divorce with some close friends last Saturday the 22nd. We wanted to venture into some unexplored dining options so we decided to check out Smyth. From the get go this place had a vibe off the charts. Our cute little hostess sat us in the center of the restaurant at the "communal table", we were... More

Loved the ambience, food...Smyth was quiet yet energizing at the same time. We sat at bar and we loved all we ordered. Wisconsin specialties were interesting and tasty too - even cheese curds which made us laugh until we ate them - wow!

They served me raw chicken and acted like they had given me fries instead of mashed potatoes. No apology. They admitted they did it and the chef didn't even come out and day they were sorry! And they charged us for it.

I have been to Smyth two times now. They offer good high quality food. This trip I had roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes and a nice salad with heirloom tomatoes. It was all delicious. Service was good and the ambience was calm. The only negative is it is pricey.

We visited with a party of 12 in early August. This old hotel has been converted to a trendy cool place. The food here was amazing. Be sure to try the pork cheeks. They feature small medium amd large plates so you can try several items. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Also leave time to have a... More

Great variety of food which is well presented. The atmosphere says "Milwaukee." Can get a bit loud but that's part of the fun.

We and drinks at the patio first and then changed and went and ate. The atmosphere was really romantic and unique. We had a great server that complimented the restaurant, she was made for this place and clearly took her job seriously. The dinner was outstanding. We never felt rushed and we left satisfied.

We went for brunch while staying at the Iron Horse. We sat outside it was really nice and windy. We shared a burger and had a few Tokyo Mules to drink. It was good, but it had a very limited menu. The Iron Horse was a great hotel. The library inside was unique. They also had things in the hotel... More

I was looking forward to eating at Smyth because I had heard so much about it. It was just ok - not worth the price you pay. We were staying at the hotel, but Milwaukee has far better restaurants to try rather than eating her. Not bad, just average though and we were disappointed.
