Could have been in Chelsea are of NYC . Hip atmosphere. Great fabulous large loft style rooms. Great vibe in the bar and throughout the hotel! Absolutely loved staying there! Will definitely be back!

Classic, solid US breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Liked the simple menu, would have loved to eat for dinner but no time.

Hotel restaurants are not typically my first choice when considering where to dine out. However, we arrived in Milwaukee on a Friday evening and were staying at the Ironhorse Hotel and wanted to keep it simple. We ended up having a fabulous meal and enjoyed great service. Our waiter made great recommendations for both beer and mixed drinks. Entrees were... More

Dear Akron, Thanks for sharing your review with everyone. It is always a pleasure to hear comments about our food and beverage programs not falling into the same "tired hotel restaurants" as many hotel restaurants do. Our menus, intuitive service model, and people all believe and work every day for this. Thanks again for taking the time to share your... More

The Route 66 theme is fun and the food fine! I traveled everywhere on the menu, and each one was better than the last! The buffet is chock full of goodness will be back hopefully next month!

LA J, Thanks for sharing your review and very happy to hear our "re-do's" of the real Route 66 is better than the originals them self. Look forward to having you back soon and be sure to check out of Easter Brunch as it is one of our biggest and most desired. This year we will have a seafood station... More

My fiancee and I visited Milwaukee and decided to have dinner here based on reviews. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was lovely - although admittedly somewhat dark. First they bring you fresh made bread with honey butter - the butter was so delicious and took the bread to another level. We ordered a salad to share - the Smyth... More

Autumn, Thanks for sharing your visit with us and pleased to see you and your husband really enjoyed your dining experience. Our Trout which is locally sourced is one of our most desired items and certainly one of the prettiest presentations. It really is a great example of that true rustic Wisconsin cuisine we strive for. We hope to see... More

We are, admittedly, HUGE food snobs. We like to eat at places with Michelin Star and James Beard award winners. We were very impressed by this restaurant. Now I am writing this after only one trip so ~ I cannot speak for consistency yet. We had the Crab Cake for an appetizer. I have had too many in my life... More

Excellent service, great job allowing us to customize our appetizers, entrees perfectly prepared, wine list very solid - we brought our own but we also sampled a few. We are not desert eaters so no comment on that front. Only minor disappointment was they do not carry any Taylor Fladgate 20year tawny port or Illy coffee, otherwise excellent.

Had a great brunch experience today. Food was very flavorful. They were quite accommodating to my food allergies. Several excellent choices to choose from. We thought it was a a little pricey for the experience. We think $28 would be a fairer price. We will be back but not a place we would visit often.

Everything about this place is incredible, the vibe, the service, the facilities, I just LOVE it!... Perfect if you are a relaxed/alternative/upscale type of person....
