This restaurant is located in the Iron Horse Hotel and clearly is not the average hotel restaurant. It really is an incredible find and I most certainly will be back. We went there without reservations and were lucky enough to get a table. I would suggest reservations as the place was very busy. We skipped the bar and went directly... More

We were seated promptly for our 8pm reservation at the corner table I requested. Our server John was amazing. If you visit Smyth, request him. He was extremely gracious and knowledgeable about the menu. We never waited for anything. The timing of each course as well as our drink orders was spot on. We had the cheese plate, the charcuterie... More

The hash was coats let chopped and not ground so much more texture. Had a nice crust on the meat and the potatoes. Toast and eggs were good but the hash is the star.

So I decided my parents needed to go to brunch, 2015 style (aka boozey and overinduldgent). I let them choose where we went out of three places, and the second I told my mom that there were tiramisu pancakes, she was sold (#Basic #theyresogood!!!). On the way there, I explained that the menu was both a buffet and a service... More

Top notch food and service. I always appreciate and recognize when true effort is put into a meal. Soup, salad, entree, and dessert where all excellent. Their homemade grapefruit sorbet was the most refreshing I have ever tasted.

I have now been to Smyth a couple of times and enjoyed myself both times. The menu is divided into 3 major sections: appetizers, small plates and main courses. Among the main courses, I highly recommend the chicken. It's served on a bed of sauce, it's incredibly moist, and it's delicious. In fact, it reminds me of poulet de Bresse... More

Everything about this restaurant hit a 10, the atmosphere, food and service were off the charts. We have eaten here twice and you cannot go wrong with any of the steak dishes, and ask the waiter for their recommendation for a wine pairing! You will LOVE this place, we live an hour away and it is well worth the drive!

I didn't make a reservation and really should have as it's a small restaurant area and they were booked so we had to sit at the bar and eat, which wasn't really an ideal place to feast. Mimosas are included with the buffet yet they're premade and they were a bit strong for me, but I'm not really a drinker... More
