Take a look at the photos of the two pizzas we received and tell me those are worth $11 EACH! No way. Sorely disappointed at this visit, although we have been here many times before and had good food. This one time will make us never order pizza there again, however. We'll stick with the pasta dishes. Being vegan, I... More

I convinced my not so loving Pizza husband, to have lunch at Transfer Cafe the other Saturday. We had been to the Winter Market and managed to avoid all the tasty treats that were available there, to have pizza for lunch. The only place that I wanted to go was to this one. We were seated right away, and had... More

Transfer pizza was great! The proprietor is from the Ukraine, and he has formal training in Italy, and works hard to bring his fusion style pizza to his patrons here in Milwaukee. The thin crust is amazing! The place used to be a soda fountain back in the day, and the floor plan is retained and now has a touch... More

Short version: Fantastic garlic pizza, great salad. Service was above expectations, we left behind our valuables and they chased us down to return them. Thank you Ashlee! Transfer Pizza is the best pizza we have eaten in years. Long version: Our family was in Milwaukee for a short trip. We found Transfer Pizza on TripAdvisor and decided to give it... More

Went back in early January with the family as a recommendation from friends. it didn't disappoint. The wife and I had the combination and kids had the sausage and pepperoni. Each had good sauce and ample toppings. The service was both efficient and excellent. IIRC, the Sunday football games were on and by ordering 2 pizzas the picture of beer... More

Tried Transfer for the first time based on the recommendation of a friend. Did not disappointment. Had the pizza with the garlic sauce base. Sooo good! My daughter and i got a medium and finished the whole thing. We got there about 630 on a Saturday. It was crowded but luckily some seats opened up at bar. Friendly and attentive... More

I like the atmosphere here and wish my city had a 'pizza place' like this. The crust is perfect, perfect!! I normally like tomato sauce that is a bit more tangy but this was still good. This time, service was really slow, I don't think our server came to check on us between the time she delivered our food and... More

Fantastic location (close to Downtown, Third Ward, Walker's Point, and Bay View). Really nice décor and fantastic service (friendly and efficient, but not hovering or rushed). I had the pasta carbonara and my friend had a pizza. We both loved our meals and ate every last bite.

What a find! Garlic cream sauce as a pizza base? Tomato and pesto sauce? Absolutely delicious. Located a little south of downtown in what looks like it was probably an old pharmacy, the atmosphere is great. Service was excellent too. I will definitely return every trip to Milwaukee.
