Best pizza (gluten-free, too) ever!

This was the first pizza place we checked out when we moved here and we struck gold! Their regular and gluten-free crusts are phenomenal, and their gluten-free bread for bruschetta is the best I've ever had. My husband even eats the GF bread without issue. Lots of creative pizza combinations... read more

Great pizza, wide range of customers. Neighborhood folk, college kids and a couple of strange ones. But food was very good. Be sure to get the Bruschetta with salami. Garlic sauce on the pizza

I have been going to Transfer Pizza for quite sometime now and I have to say I always walk away satisfied. I would rate this place as one of the top 3 best pizza places in Milwaukee. They have a huge selection of pizzas to choose from or you can create your own. I have never tried any of the... More

This little pizzeria in the fifth Ward should not be missed. I spent six months in Milwaukee and I will tell you this is the best pizza joint in town. I highly recommend getting the gluten-free white pizza you won't be disappointed.

This is a very popular pizza restaurant in Milwaukee. We had a short wait for a seat at the counter. The wine was o.k., the beer was good and the pizza good. If we were going again however, we would not order a pizza with the garlic cream sauce (which is dairy-free.) We'd prefer a pizza with red sauce and... More

I love the pizza here. The garlic sauce is a must-have! You can also try some more unique options for toppings and I'm pretty sure they get all their ingredients locally. Service is usually good. They only serve local beers on tap and have a good wine selection.

I try to bring anyone here to try the pizza. My favorite is the DaVinci pizza and we can never not have the salami bruschetta. It is amazing. The garlic aioli on it makes it a must have. The atmosphere is fun. It is a popular location so if you come later expect to wait. They will take reservations for... More

I had heard about Transfer for years, but never stopped in. This year, however, a coworker gave me City Tins for Christmas, so we decided to check it out. I am so glad I did. We had one regular pizza and one gluten free and both were fabulous. They even go out of their way for gluten free allergies and... More

Service was great. Atmosphere was quirky but cool. We enjoyed their pizza. Parking isn't the easiest around there.

When Via on Downer closed, we knew that Transfer had the pizza we liked, so gave it a try. Great idea. The triangular building, an old pharmacy with the leaded glass windows still intact, is worth the visit -- and the food is good. Salad also OK; we've not tried other menu items. Wine so-so, but you don't go here... More
