Mayura has always been our favorite Indian restaurant in Milwaukee. I don't know what happened but since our last visit in December, when we were there multiple times, it has gone downhill. The chicken tikka masala used to be outstanding. This time, the sauce was thin, the spicing off, and the chicken wasn't simmered tender. Similarly, the onion kulcha was... More

There aren't too many places left where you can get an all you can eat buffet for $10 AND really like it! We happened on Mayura while walking up Farwell Avenue after we decided not to wait and hour to be seated at Beans & Barley. And I should be more specific...our noses found this lunch spot hit! Authentic Indian... More

We used a Groupon and took our chances on this place for dinner. We had a lamb rice dish, Chicken Tiki Masala and garlic naan and curry veggies. Everything was wonderful.

Today I went to this restaurant. I have ordered chicken Biryani & aloo paratha. As per my surprise, I never had such a disgusting food in my whole life. I would like to advice people not to try out this place. If someone wants to go after reading this review, they can go at their risk.

Our flight from DC came in a bit late so I wasn't expecting much from a buffet which had presumably been open for hours, but the amount of options were terrific and, more importantly, so was the taste and freshness. I cannot vouch for Mayura's service for dinner, but their lunch buffet had at least 15 options and I wish... More

We frequent Mayura and are never disappointed. Mayura has a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrees and appetizers. Dishes can be prepared at different levels of spiciness; we are wimps and the mild has nice spicing but is not too hot for us. Friends who like spicier or hotter tell us that medium or hot is fine with... More

When asked if I wanted my byrani medium or hot, I being used to the heat, I said hot. It was quite hot! I did stand the heat but, next time, I will say medium. LOL. It is a southern Indian restaurant so it is a bit hotter than northern. I will definitely go back.
