Soblemans has taken their Bloody Mary to a new level! I enjoy the wonderful trimmings but wish they made their own Bloody Mary mix as I think they use Jimmy Luv's which isn't my favorite. Regardless, the delicious, moist burger makes up for any shortcomings with respect to a personal preference for home made Bloody Mary mix! The value here... More

I have no idea why this restaurant gets such great reviews. Yes, the bloody mary was tasty and the little slider garnish with it was fun. But the burgers were fair. The fries tasted like the frozen ones you cook in the oven from the grocery. And the service was horrendous. The waiter was cocky, slow, and unhelpful. I recently... More

Our nephew went to Marquette College and frequented this restaurant/bar during his years there. The burgers were amazing and the beer was great, too! They had a really cool looking Bloody Mary that had a mini slider on the end of the toothpick, along with all of the other regular Bloody Mary items. We didn't have one but will definitely... More

Truly a hidden gem and a must go, Sobelman's has been one of those local spots that someone usually has to tell you about as it's near downtown, yet just off the beaten path. Arrive there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and you're sure to see a line out the door, yet it's very worth the wait. I suggest... More

I have been here numerous times. Food is always good, but do not go here if you are in a hurry. The staff never seems rushed, nor will be, and there are no reservations taken. There are some tables outside, and now there is an outdoor space taking up a couple parking spacings. Literally on the road. I would not... More

Saw a Picture of the Bloody Mary's with the tremendous Chicken and had to have one. We visited the Pub and ordered the Chicken Bloody Mary with all the trimmings. Our group of 3 had all we could do to eat and drink this delicious Meal in a Glass and do I mean delicious. Bloody Mary was fresh made and... More

We ate here before a Brewer game. This restaurant is close to Miller Park and has an old fashioned restaurant atmosphere. The architecture is old world and I think at one time it was a creamery. We arrived at 5:00 and parked across the street. The Bloody Mary was very good and had either a chili powder or cumin flavor... More

do i need a hamburger with a 10 pound chicken attached or a drink that is buried under every imaginable ingredient? no. when they started out, they were simply the best. that is the point, simply the best. no garbage, no gimmicks, no cliches and not a parody of what a hamburger place should be - somewhere along the way,... Didn't go all out with the fried chicken bloody Mary. Did have a house bloody Mary, & it was great. We only stopped in for a quick drink, but service was great, as were the drinks. Would go back & also recommend.

Went to sobelmans for the "Best burgers in Milwaukee". Outside looked like a cool vintage building, inside felt like a sardine can. Good beer specials, but the burgers looked like frozen patties you buy at Wal-Mart and mounded with your toppings of choice. No real taste of burgers just toppings. I ordered my burger medium-rare for the juices. It was... More
