We were camping in a nearby campground and were looking for a nice place to eat. We made reservations for a Saturday night dinner for the 5 of us and got right in with no wait. Chico (owner) met us at the door and has a pleasant conversation with us. I got the prime rib dinner which was excellent. It... More

Step into a quaint, family run supper club on the shores of a beautiful Wisconsin lake! The lobster boil (several times each summer) is not only delicious, but an event. Watch the golf cart tote out the crustaceans, and over boil the pot right on the beach. We had a crew of 12, and the evening will definitely become an... More

The best Wisconsin supper club we have tried. It was a beautiful night with a long line but it was worth it. The Lake Koshkonong view was wonderful Inspired: Chico and Dawn have a great spot and they know what they are doing Service: Beth was one of the best servers we have ever had! Atmosphere: relaxed and friendly Food... More

This was our first stop on the Supper Club Tour of Wisconsin, and we were treated like family. We had read about the Buckhorn, and the Pope family that owns the club. Upon entering, we were greeted by the family, and treated like family during our entire visit. The owner, Chico Pope, visited with us at the bar before dinner,... More

Went in the Buckhorn for Lunch. Was shocked at the prices for just a hamburger - $10.95. A Cheeseburger $11.95. Most entrees were around $30,00. It might be a good place for dinner, but for just trying to grab a quick lunch, $10.95 for a hamburger is even more than Red Robin. Walked out and went to another place along... More

Great location, but your view of the lake is going to reflect in their prices (and the food is not worth it). We used to go here & it was more reasonable, especially for a Friday fish fry. However, we went one Friday & actually left after looking at the menu. I love the good old WI fish fry, however... More

We decided on going to the Buckhorn for fish fry on a Friday night. The view is beautiful over looking the Lake and the sunset was lovely. That is all the nice things I can say about my dinner at the Buckhorn. We were greeted immediately and told there was a 45 minute wait. No problem, there is a nice... More

My wife and I were turned off from the moment we walked in the door. The place has an old, musty smell. We were seated next to one of the four tiny windows that looks out over the lake. Only one person at a time can see out the little windows. Our drinks had no garnishes. The menu is extremely... More

We gave this local supper club another try. The atmosphere is nice and the bar and restaurant were clean. The restrooms leave much to be desired. We waited for a table while having a drink in the bar. The wait was about 40 minutes of the 45 we had been told. That was good. The drinks are quite expensive for... More

During a Friday night snowstorm; we braved out to keep our reservations for our first meal at the Buckhorn. The place was packed and we waited about 30 minutes past our reservation times in the bar. The bar was old time quaint and the drinks were good. $5.00 for a mixed drink. The owner (I believe) came around and talked... More
