Unless you're early, you might have a short wait for a table on weekends but it's worth it. The menu offers satisfying options for virtually everyone. Service and preparation of dishes is... More

We're glad we stumbled upon this gem in a downtown area of Middleton. It's on a darling little street close to other shops, and a local brewery as well. You could ride your bike here from any of the gorgeous trails nearby. Food and service were good and welcoming - just what you'd expect from a diner. This diner is... More

Stopped in at the Hubbard Ave Diner after checking out the Mustard museum. When I walked in and saw the pies, I could only have a salad for lunch to make sure I had enough room for pie for dessert. We had to wait for our table, but a crowd is usually an indication of good food, and that rang... More

This is a BUSY BUSY place on the weekends, for good reason. They have terrific breakfasts and service is always good. But, there has to be a special mention of the pies..ohhhh the pies. SOO many choices. Great place to stop in the PM or for a late dessert and coffee. I get all my Thanksgiving pies from here. And... More

We waited a little longer than desired for our waiter once we were seated, but they were crowded. The pie was wonderful. We will go back if in the area again.

Good coffee, all breakfast choices are excellent - especially the pancakes and then don't leave without taking one of their outstanding pies home with you. It's an all around feast day when you've visited the Hubbard.

This building alone will make you want to come in! Retro 50's almost expected Fonzie to greet you ! The menu has all the classics you would find in a diner with an innovated twist. Salmon bowl over wild rice with a fresh dill cucumber sauce.......nice. Service was great. Will return to try their homemade pies and desserts. Helpful tourist... More

Hubbard is a local favorite. It's got a lot of home style favorites. Meat loaf, Mac and cheese, chicken pot pie, etc. My personal favorite is the white chicken chili, which I usually order "frito pie" style. It comes with a chunk of cornbread, and it's all very tasty. They are famous for their pie, but I've never had a... More

We met an old friend here for breakfast yesterday. The potato pancakes were excellent. I could have eaten one more though. My mate said the coffee wasn't very good. Bitter and yet weak. We bought a few cookies, probably would've bought more baked goods but have limited space in our camper.

Granted, we came in about 12.30 for family get-together along with everyone else in the world it seems. Had a 45 minute wait, got seated and waited and waited for our waitress. She was nice, but was rarely seen. And, then got the order wrong for my hubby. We were all done with our meals when his right order finally... More
