Go for the pie!

I had not had cherry pie in years, and what I had here was fabulous, better than I could make myself. Normally the crust is the weakest factor, but here, the crust was light, flaky and utterly delicious. I had mine warmed and a la mode. Wow! The other choices looked great, too. I'm definitely... read more

Stopped by a for breakfast/lunch after an appointment in the area. Ordered a Bloody Mary which was good and the Carnivore which was good. Also ordered the potato pancakes which were a bit soggy. I would definitely not order them again Service was fine as was the atmosphere.. Probably check our something else next time were in the area.

If you're looking for good, comfort food, this diner is the spot! Good anytime of day, but we enjoy breakfast there. Meatloaf is good, too. A little quirky, 50's flair, and delicious pie!

The breakfast food is good. Be prepared for a wait on Sunday's tho. Great portions - you won't leave hungry.

One step inside and you will feel like you just exited a time machine. A classic diner with good food, including some gluten free options. The desserts are incredible, although I wish they would offer smaller dessert portions at a lower price. Many times I simply pass on the scrumptious desserts because the serving sizes are just too large. Even... More

This is a great local restaurant that we get our pies for one night a month for are social hour. It is one of our hotel guest favorite nights to join us for social night. It is a great example of our local business in Middleton Wi

We sent my BIL out for take-out pie. Excellent pie crusts! Great selection, and they actually have the proper containers for pie, so it is still pie-shaped when you get it home. The cream pies barely fit, they are so tall! Definitely one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in town.

What can I say, when I'm feeling blue or just nostalgic for home cookin' like my grandma used to make, my go-to restaurant is Hubbard Ave. Consistently awesome food, nice variety for everyone, food comes out piping hot and made with love. Breakfast is equally fantastic, scrambles and huge slabs of ham that will blow your mind. Oh yeah, the... More

I was looking forward to eating here after hearing so many people say how good it is. The place seems to always be busy, which would normally be a good sign but instead just meant extremely slow and inaccurate service. It does appear to be a local favorite, but I can't figure out why.
