While visiting Downtown Madison for a Badger Hockey match, this Diner was recommended to us by extended family members who live nearby. We arrived at 7 AM, their Saturday morning opening time, for their delicious breakfast menu. Their homemade biscuits add a nice touch. The server was very... read more

This is my third trip to Middleton, and I will never not miss this diner on my next trips. The soups ( clam chowder and veggie bean ) were delicious. The desert selections, so many! We had the strawberry rhubarb pie with really good vanilla ice cream, and a cheesecake slice.

Food like mom used to make - only better - in an adorable diner setting, complete with booths and rotating counter stools. Best of all, this is where the Sweet Pie Man, Jason Harder, practices his pie-making craft, whipping all sorts of pie flavors and baked concoctions. Service is always friendly, prices and portions are reasonable, and it's just a... More

I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have ordered there yet. I have been going for the last 10 plus years. Easy to read menu with a good selection. Simple options with excellent taste.

We go here regularly and usually take out of town guests when they visit. Delicious breakfast and brunch items. Very good lunch and dinner items. My wife swears by their burgers. I always go for the huevos rancheros at breakfast or brunch. Everything is made fresh in-house. Several vegetarian and vegan options for the non-carnivores in your group. Great throwback... More

This place is a wonderful family diner with plenty of chrome, daily specials and the most amazing pie. No, seriously, Pie. Come just for the pie, stay for the pie, eat the pie, love the pie, buy a pie to take to the office and the boss will promote you. It's that good.

The homemade Corn Beef Hash is delicious and enough IF you get it with eggs and biscuit. Their biscuits are SO good we were surprised they don't offer biscuits & sausage gravy!!! Pie choices are great! Beware of visiting during Christmas holiday if your little one may be afraid of a big Santa as ours was!!!!

Dined here with my partner and a friend of ours who is a local. Great atmosphere, loved the decor, you don't see many authentic places like this anymore. Service was super friendly and efficient. Menu was certainly interesting with a great selection. Our mains were fine, decent enough serves and tasty. Nothing outstanding but again nothing really wrong. Our desserts... More

Our son's favorite pie used to be lemon meringue. Recently, he has been talking about Key Lime from this place near where he works that became his favorite. While we were in visiting with him and his family, we got a chance to have lunch there with him. We each had a different "diner" lunch. Grilled salmon salad, Rueben, Custom... More

Went to this restaurant Sunday Oct. 11th. Waited about 20 mins - not too bad. They were extremely busy. In a word Excellent!!! We had omlets cooked to perfection. For the road, we bought Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Chocolate Chip cookies and carrot cake. OMG carrot cake was to die for -- cookies were perfect. This will be our 'go to'... More
