I had high expectations for Palmyra. The food was just okay and the service was poor. I got falafel and the serving size was very small for the price.

This is some of the best Middle-Eastern food I have ever tasted. Service is a little slow, but it must be because they are making each dish to order -- it all tastes very fresh. I usually order the Mediterranean Pasta, but every dish I have tried there has not disappointed.

It's not a 5-star restaurant, and doen't attempt to be. It's a nice little authentic middle eastern restaurant tucked into Middleton Hills. If you go in, you could be in almost any little restaurant from Riyadh to Amman to.... The food is excellent, and real. The tabouli and the hummus are the best I've had since leaving Saudi Arabia. My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place in the area to eat, and saw that the Shish Cafe had been relocated to Palmyra. Since it was nearby and we were hungry, we decided to try it out for dinner. The place is a bit small, sort of a cafe style, but is decorated like it is meant... More

We have enjoyed the Shish Cafe for years. They now have the Shish menu. We love the new location. Food is great. Staff personable. Service is sometime slow, but worth the wait.

Food that makes you feel healthy. Locally owned, and good food. Outdoor seating. Great neighborhood restaurant, quiet and you can talk!

Went to Palmyra with 5 others. Shrimp noodle swarma, chicken noodle swarma, salmon, two lamb dishes, a kabob, and appetizers. All was wonderfully prepared and delicious! The baklava was also very good but could have been a little sweeter. This was a business dinner and I'll definitely be taking my family back for the experience. Make sure to give it... More

I've been to Palmyra once before and was pleased enough with lamb and vegetables to go again, as a special meal, Christmas Eve afternoon. However, after observing the restaurant fill up and seeing no one eating, we learned the cook had not come to work, yet. We thought it best not to wait and changed our plans.

Palmyra Restaurant is owned by the same people who own the Shish Cafe. This new spot is smaller and seems designed for take-out, but also has some tables for those preferring to eat-in. The menu and the wine list seemed limited compared to the Shish Cafe. The starters came promptly and were delicious. The pita bread was hot from the... More
