The pizza is really one of the best in town. All pizzas are made from scratch and not frozen. They also have takeout available, but not sure if they do delivery. Reasonably priced.

I have visited Roman Candle on two occasions. Both times the pizza was fantastic. If you eat at a table on the main level there are shelves that fold out from the wall on which the server sets the pizza. I was there with two friends and each of the three of us ordered our own pizza. The table was... More

The Roman Candle Pizzeria has nothing above average to offer. The menu is limited and the food is just ok.

This is unique, die for pizza. Not your Papa John's place. Has fresh ingredients, gluten free options, vegan options or just-how-you-want it pizza. They have a whole lot of other things to eat here, but most people go for the pizza. It's a nice enough place where you can sit and enjoy a business lunch or a nice wine with... More

We stopped on a recent trip to Madison for pizza and a salad and it was very good. There is a great selection of beers and wines as well as variations on pizza sauces and styles ( I had a tasty vegetarian pesto pizza and my husband had the fireworks spicy sauced pizza with banana peppers and sausage, which he... We love this perfect little pizza place. We never have a problem getting in, the service is always speedy and kind, and the pizza and salads always please. They create some interesting pizzas, with arugula (green on a pizza feels so righteous doesn't it?), or create your own. The crust is a puffy think crust, which I like. The sauces... More

Delicious pizza and farm to table ingredients make this restaurant a great choice! The downstairs has a room with toys for children to enjoy and it is a very child friendly atmosphere. Upstairs searing is nice, lined with windows on one wall. They have a good selection of alcohol. We will definitely go back for the pizza! Great meatballs and... More

Our party of four enjoyed a family sized Caesar salad and two pizzas topped to perfection. Our server, Nick, was great and got our relatively complicated order correct without taking notes! Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely return.

Decided to do take out at the Roman Candle last weekend and used their on-line ordering system. At 6:35 I submitted an order for pick up at 7 pm...just a pizza with three toppings. When I arrived at 7 pm I was told it would be another 15 minutes due to a large order that came in previous to mine.... More

This pizzeria was recommended to us from a store clerk. The restaurant had a neat atmosphere. There were many options of pizza. There could have been more sauce on our pizza and it was not served "piping hot", but just hot enough that we were able to bite into it when it was brought to our table. The service was... More
