Atmosphere: Homey and like Cheers, as mentioned in one of the other reviews. Service: Friendly and efficient; we all received our meals at the same time, and the waitress brought extra butter, etc., and we didn't have to ask for anything. Food: We all ordered the cod fish fry, and we all enjoyed the meal. The cod was fresh and... More

Definitely a neighborhood favorite for the Northshore. Great entrees (barbeque ribs and fresh fish) sandwiches, soups and salads. Always fresh

Usual pub selections, but always some interesting specials that are outside of the ordinary pub fare. Excellent burgers. Friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Glad it is in our backyard.

this is a Cheers kind of place, a relaxing neighborhood pub with a great menu, good service, and excellent food. Try the chicken wings, which is an appetizer but easily could qualify as a meal.

My wife and I first discovered The Centennial when we were looking for a place to stop while on a motorcycle tour with a large group. KATIE was very helpful in assuring us they could handle the small groups of riders dropping in all day. Since then we have returned for lunches and dinners; we have brought friends along and... More

They had such a great variety on their menu, you could choose all of your favorites. The waitress we had was very attentive and efficient!

Friday night at the Centennial with the family. Service was a bit slow to start but the wait staff redeemed themselves very quickly. Very kid friendly as we had a toddler that was fussy when we arrived and shortly after receiving a generous portion child's meal (at a surprising $2.49) of chicken strips, fruit cup and milk she wanted more... Try the Gingersnap martini - it sounds funny but it was delicious. The fish fry is always a wonderful meal. We got right in on a late Saturday night but usually it's packed so you may want a reservation.

Last weekend we went to the Centennial Bar & Grille for an early dinner. One of the specials on the board was a Greek Steak Salad, which is what my partner ordered. He said that it was just okay, nothing special. I just ordered a sandwich. The service was just okay and they weren't even that busy. One thing though,... More

Took the "Mom's" there on Mothers day(Their selection). Cajun Walleye was outstanding, as was the stuffed salmon and Tenderloin & blue cheese salad. Haystack onion rings were great, but way too much batter on the deep fried eggplant. BBQ ribs were done well and meaty, but the sauce was a little boring. All in all, an above average meal, but...
