Description: A New Place To Gather, is a dining experience designed by restauranteur, Brian Zarletti. The restaurant reflects Brian's lifelong passion for Italian wine, food, and culture bringing a genuinita to Salotto Zarletti that can be felt throughout. We hope you enjoy the simple, thoughtful cuisine prepared by Executive Chef, Andrew Miller, who pays homage to southern Italian traditions and the bounty of delicious products found right here in the Midwest. Whether it's Salotto's Neopolitan pizza, hand-crafted in the wood-burning oven imported from Italy, or one of our many housemade pastas, each dish is prepared and presented with both appetite and aesthetic in mind. We are thrilled to welcome you to the world of Italian food, wine, and fun! Buon appetito!

We arrived early for a dinner reservation so expected to spend a few minutes at the bar. Oddly, we shared the bar with a young girl (5 or 6?) who was eating pizza alone. Eventually someone came to claim her, chatting with the bartenders. Sort of reminiscent of Italy but seemed strange in Mequon. (She was cute and quiet -... More

I went for lunch with a friend. We went during the afternoon on a weekday. The waiter was our server and he was very helpful. We started with fried olives that were delicious. My friend had a pasta and I had a pizza. Both were good. We ended with Panna Cotta and Chocolate Cake. Both good.

I was not sure what to expect considering the mixed reviews this restaurant has received. However, my wife and I went with an open mind. Here's our experience: We sat at a high table in the bar area. The atmosphere was pleasant and it wasn't too loud for a Friday evening. Our server was wonderful as were all the rest... More

Had dinner here twice. Casual but nice atmosphere, convenient location, mediocre food which could be corrected with some attention to detail. For appetizers we had the house marinated olives, or just olives because there were no other detectable flavors and the olives weren't particlarily flavorful either. The burrata was mostly hard, missing the creamy middle but the grilled bread was... More

We stopped here on our way back from Chicago, in hopes for a great meal. I had about it from a few co-workers, as well as an article in the Journal Sentinel. We made reservations and were seated right away. We really enjoyed the ambience, decor, etc of the place. Very trendy and stylish. We placed an order for a... More

We had the following food: mozzarella salad, lobster ravioli, and margherita pizza. We had the following drinks: cappuccino, fragola basilica, pera, Bellini, and lemoncello. Service and atmosphere were very good. The food was generally very good except undercooked. My pizza was doughy in the middle which would be unusual for a Neopolitan pizza. The drinks were good. I would recommend... More

Beautiful interior that mimics an upscale, rustic Italian setting. However, it was cold in the building, and the very large, beautiful picture window on the main floor overlooks a parking lot - it needs a sheer drape or something to soften up the view because the view ruins the ambiance. The lunch food was somewhat unique upscale Italian. Service was... More

Went at the recommendation of friends. It was a Saturday evening, the place was VERY loud, the menu prices were a bit on the high side, considering everything was a la carte. A plain salad for $6.00 is a bit much. No bread on the table either. As for the food, we have had much better food at much more... More

My wife and I tried this place as we had seen it on a the show Studio A. The place is very nice. A bit loud but I really liked the layout and decor. Very fancy place. So with that said since this is in Mequon it is not for everyone. I felt kind of out of place, not by... More

The restaurant has great ambience and vibe. Staff is superb, absolutely no complaints there. Pizza is encourage in bar only never as a meal but as an appetizer. Glad I did get the pizza appetizer, it comes out really fast and can serve 3 people. My fish special, halibut was very small. Had I not had the pizza appetizer I... More
