You always feel welcomed and the food is great.

Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable (depending where you're seated). Great steaks, bbq ribs and house potato bake. New owner picked up right where the former owner left off. Popular with the older set so you know it's good and reasonably priced. Avoid the close quarters by asking to sit in... read more

I fell in love with this place the moment I stepped inside. It is a quaint, well maintained old farmhouse with booths and tables tucked in every corner. Wood paneling on the walls, great old bar, and clientele that have been coming here for years. We had the fish fry which was very good with nice portions. French onion soup... More

Once a month or so, what is left of my family in the greater Milwaukee area meets for dinner. To accommodate an elderly uncle, we met near his backyard, the "Range Line Inn", located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Mequon Road and Range Line Road, north of Milwaukee's "north shore". The building seems old, and on the... More

We have always enjoyed the Range Line Inn. Not only is the food excellent, the service is great and there is always a warm greeting when you arrive. The steaks are wonderful, duck (when on the menu) is great, and the onion rings are the best! We also love the hot rolls served with dinner. Highly recommend a reservation.

I had a wonderful Perch Fish Fry today and boy was it excellent. It included a baked potato and Cole slaw. They served hot buns, cinnamon, raisin, cheese and onion, wheat and plain what a treat, Old house nice atmosphere great wait staff. No issues whatsoever.

This family-owned gem has been around, in one incarnation or another, for well more than a century. It's the kind of Milwaukee-area institution that other locales have trouble replicating: warm, historic atmosphere; excellent food, especially the steaks;. hard-to-beat prices. It's worth the drive from downtown Milwaukee (20 minutes tops) for a first-rate experience.

Not having dined here since moving away decades ago, we visited with a good friend who recently moved to the area. The interior is as charming as I remembered and my dinner featured the best steak I have eaten in years. The menu is not expansive and the prices are not inexpensive, but both the food and the service were... More

I love this restaurant. historic, brings back many memories when my parents took me here, when I was little. Now, I've moved away to Texas, and returned for the first time in 20 years to eat here. I'm so glad I went. Just the same as I remembered. I wonder if the same owners are operating it? Could use a... More
