Description: This is the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great. The prices were reasonably. The portions were good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food served fresh and hot. The fried cheesecake finished off an excellent meal! 5 stars!!!

When we arrived, we were seated right away but that was the better part of our experience although they do have nice decor even if it is a bit noisy. It took awhile for our waitress to come to our table and we were surprised that someone who came after us were waited on before us. Once our waitress arrived... More

We were the only people in the place when we stopped for a late lunch. We ordered the fajita nachos and WOW they were excellent! My wife and I shared them and it was plenty of food for the both of us. In addition to the endless chips and a great fresh tasting salsa! I highly recommend Cinco de Mayo... More

I order the steak and seafood burrito. Ask for a box to take half home. You can not eat it all. The drinks are very good ,so I am told by friends. I personally do not drink. My girlfriends came from Chicago and they loved it. One lady is Hispanic herself. She claims that the food it like homemade.

We recently discovered Cinco de Mayo which is near our summer home. I can only say that I wish we had gone there sooner than we did. The salsa has a nice kick (with continual refills of salsa and chips), the margaritas are nicely blended and the food is terrific. In addition, the folks that run the restaurant are delightful....very... More

We were directed by hotel staff that this is a good locaal spot in town. A littel distance from our Best Western hotel.

This is a good Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices. Nothing special about ambiance but the food and service is very good. Portion size is reasonable. A good place for families with children.

We ate dinner at the Cinco de Mayo restaurant the first weekend in September when we stayed in Mauston overnight. It was fantastic! I'm glad we ignored the couple bad reviews listed here. The restaurant was beautiful, they had recently got all new booths and tables there that were hand carved and painted in Guadalajara and imported just for the... More

Fajitas were a bit dry and chewy. Hot house tomatoes in Sept were disappointing. Tamale and chili rellano had good flavor. Would try it again if I was a locale. Would not be a high priority for a traveling re-do. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

Very good selection on the menu- both authentic and 'American' meals. Order the El Paso order authentic pork/corn tortilla/cilantro and onion tacos, I'm addicted. Good and good atmosphere.

Carnitas and Carne Asada were excellent. Service was spotty but entertaining, knowing how to speak a little Spanish will help.
