The finest candy

Needed a chocolate mouse for a Christmas exchange gift and I knew they'd have what I wanted. So much variety for an old- fashioned chocolate shoppe.

Actually had an ice cream sundae also. Served in an old fashioned ice cream dish, with excellent toppings. Then felt just like a kid in a candy shop and bought several different candies. They cost a little more than the store, but then they are made fresh and of very high quality.

Love taking people here who have never been. One of the few places with the old town feel and excellent ice cream. Service is always excellent with friendly servers and good offerings on the menu for a soup/sandwich/dessert kind of place.

This a a gem of Manitowoc! Their home made chocolate is to die for! It's also a great place to go for presents for any occasion. A must place to visit while in Manitowoc!

I have been going to Beerntsens for years and the reason is they have the best chocolate you can buy anywhere. I have never been disappointed.

Love this place amazing homemade candies. Sandwiches good as well. The sundaes are huge and fantastic. They make the hot fudge & caramel from scratch and sell it in jars. Best ever.

The minute you walk in the door the smell of chocolate will draw you in! Their chocolates are fresh as can be and delicious. I've never found a better chocolate covered cherry! Yum! We did not dine there. Just went for the chocolates!

Not only were the sweets good but the place had a nostalgic feel to it. Such a cute place! The brownie ice cream sundae was yummy!

Great homemade ice cream can be enjoyed at Beerntsen's. Good portions and prices. Worth the drive downtown.

You can't help but to love the turtle--more pecans, caramel and hot fudge than ice cream. YUM! The old-fashioned nature of this establishment and the black walnut tables are classic. The chocolates are outstanding. When someone tries to give me other chocolates, I politely decline, or re-gift because these are so much better.
