One of the Best Burgers out there

We stopped at Joe Rouer's for lunch on our way to Door County, and ended up with a great burger. It's a bit off the beaten path, but well worth a stop. We had two cheeseburgers, two cups of chili/soup, a basket of fries, and a beer each for $25 including tip. This was a nice find, and we'll... read more

Be prepared for a busy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the "tender" was very friendly and prompt. The food for both of us came together on one plate, along with a stack of napkins. I got the cheeseburger and white cheddar cheese curds and it was melt in your mouth DELISH! There were tons of bowls of chilli... More

If you like all kinds of fancy toppings, this is not the place for you. Just a simple burger that tastes good. And reasonably priced.

So I remember over the years... This place was all that and a bag o chips. Well... Things have changed. The burger was just okay. What really blew my mind was... No plates... Really... We ate burgers on napkins.. sticking to the napkins... Unreal...

Great place to visit with or without kids. Has dining in bar and separate area for families. The burgers are great. Cheese curds are fresh. And if there is any left try the poppy seed torte it is delicious.

Rouer's often wins "Best of the Bay" award for best burgere in the Green Bay area. These are great, old-fashioned hamburgers hand patted and fried in a skillet. The meat comes fresh daily from a local butcher just north of Rouer's. The buns are soft and fresh, and do a great job of soaking up some of that flavorful grease... More

My family and I have been coming to Joe's for over 40 years. The burgers are huge and juicy! Nothing can add to its flavor except an order of fried cheese curds and a beer! Burgers are the best! the bar has a dinning/arcade area to entertain the kids. The price is right for families! It can be very crowded... More

While not my top burger in NE Wisconsin, this is a classic burger place that serves a very moist pan fried burger. Pricing is excellent, decent sides, and lots of beer on tap and bottles. Wait and bar staff very friendly. Take 57 North from Green Bay past Dykesville and then right on County X for about 2 miles east.... More
