Lovely American diner

This was my third visit to the diner and as always it was an enjoyable experience, however a few minor problems that need to be sorted. The starters are really good, especially the chicken strips. However, they only did 3 out of the four and by the time they fixed this the rest of us had... read more

What a great place. If you want fine dining, white tablecloths or a wide cosmopolitan menu, then go somewhere else. If you want a great, well designed, quirky, authentic, 50s diner with oodles of charm, friendly staff (in 50s outfits), a great 50s Diner menu and a selection of milkshakes that you HAVE to keep room for, then this is... Visited as heard some fantastic stories about the place. I can honestly say the place is amazing! Fantastic food and great atmosphere combine for an excellent evening! Oh, and their deserts are out of this world! A must for any fan of American burgers/hotdogs!

This may be situated away from the main road, but certainly worth a drive for a novel, meal experience. The diner has a 50's theme with genuine 50's décor in an original American street car. The staff all wear 50's type clothing. The music also reflects the decade. The meals are prepared in full view of the customers. Beware the... More

We called and booked a table on a Sunday, wanting something different and having been recommended the diner, we were excited. Once seated, our lovely waitress came over and took the order. 40 mins later, with our food being plated, a man came over and said they had no fried onions for the Hot Dog my wife had ordered. An... The staff were very friendly and attentive :) The food was lovely and didn't have to wait long. There was a minor error with the pudding but it was delicious regardless.

Our party of 5 arrived 30 minutes earlier than the time we had booked for. However, this wasn't a problem and we were seated straight away. We ordered drinks before trying to decide what food to order. The menu is really quite vast and it was a difficult choice to pick any one item. The meals we ordered all came... More

The staff was wonderful and the cook took time to recommend burgers to me. The diner itself is fabulous and you could be sitting in the US! Music is 50's, the waiting staff are dressed 50'sytle and it is fabulous. I took two 11 years olds and they both had Make Your Own milkshakes - which were absolutely gorgeous and... More

We have been to the diner previously and enjoyed the meal but after last night I think I would struggle to see a reason to go again. We arrived and got seated and were quickly offered the drinks menu. This was the only time during our 2 hour visit that we were offered drinks despite it being a very warm... More
