Summer lunch

My friend & I had lovely late lunch. We had a window seat, but most seats have a pleasant view. My friend had lobster bisque which was delicious (I got to sample it). I had the Arugula Quinioa salad my companion had the Cobb with Shrimp. Every time I've eaten here it has been a pleasant experience.

Dined here on 8/23/15, made a reservation on Open Table. Read reviews on Trip Advisor and tried a new restaurant in a different part of Lake Geneva than we had been before. Arrived at appointed time of 7:30 pm on a Sunday evening, and were told our table was not ready yet, but that was due to our request of... More

This restaurant has a beautiful view. But, it's like eating in old grandmas dining room! Needs a remodel. The menu needs the same. Food was good. But, basic and boring. Wait staff also seemed bored to be there. This place could be great with a new menu.

Dont get me wrong I have had very good meals at the Grandview. However last night I ordered the Calimari small plate. It was nothing any better than than any bar food I have had. The amount of that fried(previously frozen) calamari was over abundent thrown on top of watercress. Dressing (not bad) on the side. They previously had a... More

I start with the positive :Great View, Great Bartender Now for everything else I would not recommend. The receptionist is a grumpy individual (not only to my wife and myself but to multiple other customers), service is horrendous, food was low quality. Our waiter took our order and never showed up until the bill. The food was so poor that... More

Our family has a long history of loving this place. Yesterday, not so much. We had been out on a boat tour of the Lake which placed us at an odd time for dinner, but since this is family favorite we made a reservation. We were not informed that neither the lunch nor the dinner menu would be available, simply... More

We had dinner there one evening and everything our party had was delicious! My husband had the Scallops as did others in our party, everyone one loved them! I had the chicken and it was one of the best tasting chicken entrees I have ever had. And my dessert was incredible! (I had the Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake, not to be... More

When friends visit from out of state daytrips are a fun diversion. After the Mail Boat tour on Lake Geneva a 1 pm lunch reservation at Geneva Inn was perfect timing. We were not disappointed with the interesting and varied menu that was fairly priced. We shared a Cuban sandwich and a fresh summer salad. Delicious! Service was good and... More

We hadn't had the chance to get to Lake Geneva in a long while, but spent the day there Saturday. The highlight was lunch at the Grandview. A stunning lunch menu, priced competitively with anything on the main drag -- but what a difference from the craziness of Lake Geneva proper! The Gulyas is a great starter, and I can... More

First the dinning room has a lovely view over the lake in both the summer and the winter. Brunch or breakfast is quite nice and can be served with champagne. The food is well prepared and definitely above par with a delicious cup of coffee served from a very ornate silver vessel. If you are lucky enough to be there... More
