Stopped here for an early lunch with a friend while shopping and we were happily presented with both breakfast and lunch menus! I ordered the southern barbeque plate of course and my friend chose the crepes with strawberries. We both loved our meals. I was really surprised with how much food came with my meal! I had passed by this... More

This was the 2nd time going to Scuttlebutts, and both times my opinion is the same. The location and views of Lake Geneva are great! The service is average, with us having to ask for coffee refills 3 times.even though there were only 2 other tables having breakfast at the time. The food was good to average. I had bisquits... More

I had already had lunch at the restaurant next door, but needed something for my trip home. Not expecting much, I was surprised at how reasonable the menu was for dinner. Not being very hungry, I ordered the burger with cheddar and fries. The burger & fries were excellent and the coffee was outstanding. My server was so attentive and... More

My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite and a glass of wine. We sat outside to soak in some sun, watch the boats skim the lake and the flow of pedestrians down the path. We got the penne pasta salad and two glasses of wine. The food was great and the wine pours were generous. Only minor... More

Food is OK, but high-priced. One of our party ordered the BBQ pulled-pork which had no BBQ sauce in the pork but came with a small amount of BBQ sauce on the side. We asked more more but when the bill arrived we were charged an extra dollar on top of the ten dollars for the sandwich! Management was rude... More

When we visit Lake Geneva, we always have breakfast at Scuttlebutts. Go a little early, before 11am, to beat the crowds, the view is wonderful, looking out at the lake. The breakfast is great, I really like their swedish pancakes with lingonberries. The waitress and staff are all very nice and efficient.

I had the roast beef sandwich, which was piled high with lots of thinly sliced, tender roast beef. My husband ordered the Swedish meatballs. They were good, but he felt the dish was a bit pricey for the amount of food. Our 4 year old enjoyed his "hot diggity dog." Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and service was great!

Popped into Scuttlebutts and enjoyed a very good salad and view. It sits overlooking Geneva Lake. The interior feels like you're sitting on a porch, its very relaxing, but it can get kind of loud as it echos a lot.

Been to Lake Geneva many times, but took a friend up for her first visit and wanted to try a new restaurant. It was a postcard perfect day at the lake and we had a great outdoor table with a beautiful view! Tough time picking a choice from the wonderful menu, but we both opted for the Copenhagen salad following... More

Lunching here on a sunny summer afternoon is delightful if you are looking for outdoor seating and a view of the beach. We ordered a hamburger and the 'Copenhagen' (one of the house specialties). It probably would have been better to order a breakfast item or one of the Swedish meals as it seems that that is what they are... More
