A great little place with comfort food, a full bar and great views. The service is attentive if tag team.

We ate breakfast on a Saturday morning and it wasnt that busy. Sat right by the windows looking at the water and the boats. View was great. Service was slow but courteous. Breakfast food was average at best. Potatoes were cold but the omelet was big. Asked for eggs over medium and they were barely cooked and runny. We will... More

We love coming to Scuttlebutts in Lake Geneva for Friday fish fry, and it is probably our favorite fish fry in the area. This last visit was no exception! The restaurant seemed busy, but we were kindly seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and checked in often. We started off with some cocktails. The Bloody Mary "Extraordinaire" was really... Recently introduced all you can eat breakfast was indeed excellent although choices were limited.Omeletes and pancakes were excluded but all different kinds of meats were included. Quality was excellent and food was brought to table upon request.Price was under $10 I thouroughly enjoyed .

Spending a few days in Lake Geneva with family, we were looking for a nice place for dinner with a good view of the lake. We found it with Scuttlebutts. Seated by the friendly waitress right next to the large window facing the lake, we enjoyed a lovely dinner. Our choices ranged from broiled Walleye to Swedish Meatballs and a... More

Nice view of lake but long wait for service . Waitress was not friendly nor was the more junior bus girl, they seemed tired fed up and disinterested. Food was good and waitress brought bill before we were finished and before we asked for it . Felt rushed out.

You can get fried or broiled, all of one way or half and half. I preferred by hubby's broiled over the fried. Nice portions, and it is all you can eat. You get bread, cole slaw, awesome potato pancakes, and apple sauce. Waitress never left our water glasses empty. Very accommodating and friendly service, so perhaps they are addressing service... I am not a picky eater nor am I hard to please but this restaurant was one of worst I have eaten in. First of all many locals recommended it to us and we can not figure out why. The menu is odd and very limited. I ordered a pasta/chicken dish and when it arrived I asked the waitress if... More

My baby and I went there for lunch today. It was one of the few places that had vegetarian options. We sat on the patio.. Waitress saw us 3 times kept ignoring us, finally on the third attempt she asked for the drink order. Not even water was brought, and it was a hot day! I placed my baby's order... More
