Good deep dish pizza

They are known for their deep dish pizza so that is what we ordered. Most of the tables overlook the lake and there is plenty of room. Be aware that the deep dish pizza takes 45 minutes to cook, so if you are hungy, share one of their salads.

The pizza is great but takes about 45 minutes to prepare. We had the lemon chicken dish delivered and it was great but a little on the pricey side.

We have previously had Gino's at the original Chicago location and it was amazing a few years back. The pizza itself was good but we did not like the crust at all. Seemed like too much corn meal and not enough buttery crusty goodness. We did have it delivered so we may have enjoyed it better dining in with a... More

We had dinner here on July 20th. We are staying nearby so the closeness to our hotel was why we stopped in. We sat on their deck area which overlooks the attached hotel's pool (eh) but also the lake. The pizza was good and the beer was cold! They served us someone else's pizza but that table picked a good... More

We ate lunch at Gino's on Sat. July 18th. We arrived at about 1:00 pm and we asked to be seated lakeside on the deck. We had a great view if the lake. Our waiter was very friendly and made some menu suggestions. We ended up having the deep dish sausage pizza. A small is plenty for two people. Our... More

Let me start by saying we are regulars and this review is going to focus on our most recent visits to the Lake Geneva location. Gino's East (in Chicago, particularly on Superior) is one of my favorite places to eat, hands down. My family was thrilled when a Gino's opened up closer to us...45 minutes away, rather than 2 hours... More

Stopped on the way to the cottage. The pizza was super good. Deep dish with corn bread crust, delicious thick sauce and just the right blend of vegetables. Wonderful rich and oh so good. Even better the next day as the flavors blended together. Top notch! And we got it to go!

Service was a bit slow - even though it wasn't very busy (Wednesday evening). Took a while for the server to get to us and even longer for our drinks to come after we had ordered. Pizza was OK (deep dish) - a lot of sauce. Some might like that but my husband didn't care for it. I had the... More

We arrived with a large group of 20+ unannounced for lunch on a Sunday at 11:00. They were most accommodating and seated us close together in one area so we were able to enjoy each others company. The food was great, pizza, burgers, fries and salads! The service and servers were excellent and very pleasant. There were quite a few different... More

Awesome chicago style pizza. Gino's East is a must for those who love a really traditional chicago style pizza. While they do have other menu items such as sandwiches and salads they are famous for their pizza. The thin crust pizza is also very good. You can even sit outside on the patio and enjoy an awesome view of Lake... More
