Good burger, good salad

We went for Lunch. My husband had a burger and a cup of French onion soup. He said he wouldn't order the french onion soup if he went back again. However, he had a burger with pulled pork on it and he said it was good. I had a salad which was big and delicious. The beers on tap, however,... read more

Lively place, the food was delicious and surprisingly reasonable. Of course, love the root beer, which they're known for. I tried to be good, but ate much too much. Loved the Friday night Fish Fry.

We came in for dinner with high hopes. For an appetizer we ordered the cheese curds which are a must for any visit to Wisconsin but they were disappointing. The staff was very nice and the beer was good, but the dinners we ordered were also disappointing. The meatloaf was over cooked and had an odd taste. I'd totally recommend... More

We stopped in and enjoyed dinner. Service took a bit longer than expected but it was busy. We had a great waitress and had awesome service. Our food was cooked to order and delicious. I'd suggest the beer cheese potatoes!

The food is amazing and the menu way more than German. Very diverse, healthy and fresh. Darren is a gem there! Get the Cheap Sunglasses cocktail.

We were a little disappointed even though we knew this wasn't the brewery, that the selection of draft root beer and pop drinks was so limited. Ate lunch in the bar. Told the server we were just here for some snacks and drinks (ordered 2 appetizers and several drinks) and he was kinda so-so after that like we didn't really... More

A fairly new restaurant for the area ( opened about 4-5 years ago). My wife and I went in the off season and in the afternoon and it still had a good crowd. Speecher's is known as a Micro-brewery based out of Milwaukee which is also known for its excellent root beer. They also have an outside seating area, weather... More

I had the Friday special; 3 pieces of fried cod with pub fries and cole slaw. It came with an "Old Fashioned" or a beer! It was $13.00 for this and the fish was one of the better fish fries I have ever had. The breading was not heavy and not just dusted on. It was good. You could have... More

The restaurant is connected to the Cove. I had dinner there. They still have what they used to call a deconstruced steak salad. Now it is the steak and wedge. Yummy. I sat at the bar. The two bartenders were great. They also provide room service but I believe you have to pick it up yourself. They operate a pool... More

Good laid back restaurant with a nice variety. The options of beverages *Sprecher's sodas are abundant and yummy. This is a great place for families and/or couples or friends to get together and enjoy good food and a lovely view from the patio. Service was good and I feel this is a good value.
