Great food - better ambiance

We went to the Baker House Sunday brunch. The food was great with a variety of choices and well prepared and presented but the real reason you go is the house itself. My family and I have made this our go-to place when we just need that special break away from the routine rush of the everyday experience. The staff at the Baker House has always been warm and inviting from the moment we enter. The views are amazing and the food superb. I just adore the eclectic array of serving dishes... More

The whole experience was a let down. We had reservations held with a credit card and upon arrival was told the table was not ready and to wait in the bar. We waited for over an hour and finally went back to hostess and they said they forgot us! Really? This was a small cozy bar(a lot of fun) next... More

My boyfriend and I went for dinner last night (February 20th), and we had a great time! Walking up to the restaurant, we were struck by its sheer beauty and size! The restaurant is in an old mansion on the lakeshore, and it was decked out in lights, which added to the charm. Our waiter, Bram, was very informative and... More

The restaurant menu is limited but everything on it is great. We stayed at the BB so we had our own butler who treated us like we were royalty. Staying here is an experience you will never forget and you will want to return again and again! Highly recommended for special occasions. The Sunday Brunch which is excellent is included... More

The initial seating arrangement wasn't satisfactory, the waitress failed to accommodate the guests to a proper size table without sun glare, and everything went downhill from there.

Stopped here during winterfest for the Ice Bar and it was amazing!!! Didn't have food, just drinks and it was so much fun. Definitely want to come back for dinner as this place seems so unique.

Sat at the roulette table where Mike served us up unforgettable cocktails, cheese fondue, the most amazing chick pea stew-seriously the most amazing vegetarian dish I have ever tasted. The bananas Foster's dessert was amazing as well, dense rich and chocolatey with a great banana filling! We were not rushed, loved wearing all different kinds of hats, loved hearing about... More

What can I say, this place is amazing. The atmosphere and decor is wonderful, cozy, romantic, and really simply perfect. I spent my entire time wishing I had come for dinner and not the Afternoon Tea, as it was just terribly over-priced. We paid $35 each for about 8 pieces of finger food, so 8 maybe 10 bites of food.... More

A fun place to go, Victorian mansion, hats from the period provided, wait-staff dress the part. Food is good.
