My husband and I go to the Baker House every time we go to Lake Geneva. It is a beautiful place to step back in time at. The atmosphere is very relaxed and slow paced. The small plate menu, though pricey is excellent. You can tell the high quality ingredients are used. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The... More

This place is perfect for a busy weekend. We made reservations and they have parking. The food was perfect and the small plates were nice to share. Go for the sunset. They have a champagne toast and everyone wears cute hats!! Very fun place and the food was good.

What a beautifully restored victorian house! I was at a birthday event and this was a wonderful venue right across the street from the lake. They had cabana's and umbrella tables set up to help with the hot sun. The service was wonderful with just the right amount of checking in. The meal was family style. Everything served was gluten... It's been a year since we last ate here and the menu has undergone big and for us welcome changes. Gone are most of the big dinners and in are small plates and salads. Even the small salads are just enough for dinner and the best part is we now have room for dessert. Chocolate fondue, German chocolate brownies and... More

Terrible experience all around. When we made our reservation they should have told us they were offering a drastically reduced menu or a shrimp boil. Shrimp boil didn't sound or smell good, so no way. Then when we tried to order from the reduced menu we were told none of the protein items listed on the reduced menu were available!... More

We really enjoyed this place this past February. Wonderful service and good food. They had a fun "ice bar" set up outside, but unfortunately it was just too cold(-0 temps) for me to stay out there too long (even with the heat lamps)!

All I can say is wow....we sat down to do a tasting for an upcoming wedding and boy did they bring it. The food was both delicious and well presented. The staff was attentive and friendly. If you like the old days and period dress with a B &B feel, this is for you. We attending at dinner time and... More

Beautiful location and outdoor area. Service was slow. Food was not very inventive and too salty. Nice to try but will not return.

This restaurant is in an old mansion with a lot of history. There is a real party atmosphere here, so if you're looking for a romantic meal, this may not be the place. Food was good, although a little pricey. We stopped in the middle to toast the sunset which was fun. Desserts were delicious too. If you're in Lake... More

We did the Sunday shrimp boil on the garden. It was a great value and excellent food and service, not to mention eating in the garden is amazing. We stayed for the sunset toast which is highly recommended and had our complimentary champagne. Furthermore, we received a complimentary dessert for it being our anniversary. We will recommend this to anyone... More
