The design of the place was very pretty. Definitely meant more for dates, then friends having lunch. The place is pricey. So when a place is pricey, I expect higher quality, better tasting food. Got a brie Cheese dip for a appetizer, and it was okay. Not taste-bud tingling delicious, but okay A chicken, pasta dish and smashed potato thing... More

We wanted to eat local and Poppeyes had always been the go to place so we mixed it up. Loved the eclectic choice of food and reasonable for something different.

I am giving the restaurant 4 stars because the restaurant itself is really interesting - great architecture and ambience. I have never had a Sake Martini, and they were excellent. Much smoother than vodka martinis - we were all pleasantly surprised. We went with two other couples. Food was good for 1/2 the group and just okay for the other... More

Checked yelp and should have looked here. Dinner took 5 pm - 8 pm and not because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Hostess seated us on the balcony. Great. Waiter would come about once every 20 minutes or so. Had to chase him down for our credit card and bill. Bus boy came about every 30 seconds and wrestled... More

My group was seeking to have lunch in an outdoor setting when suddenly the skies opened up with a downpour and I thought our lunch would be scrubbed. We saw this restaurant across the street and noticed it's covered porch which enabled us to still eat outside. The place advertises tapas, but I would getter describe it as small portions.... More

We loved it - perfect afternoon of tapas and wine on their comfy balcony. Excessive "drink warning signs" along their perimeter but it's probably a city requirement. Our 3 year old daughter was also happy and treated well too. Try shrimp and scallop dishes, and cheesecake was yummy!

Two of us had dinner. We shared a salad and a vegetable and each had our own entree. The salad and entrees were good but the grilled asparagus was a very skimpy portion. I don't think it is really tapas, as they claim, as much as just a la carte ordering to charge for side dishes. The upstairs patio was... More

I stopped on for an afternoon snack and prosecco. Compared to other food options in the area, the food was very good. I especially enjoyed the lobster ravioli. However, I have to say our server was so unfriendly. It was so bad I considered writing on my reciept that he could really benefit from an attitude adjustment. I was really... More

We enjoyed the combination appetizer with bruschetta, spinach artichoke dip and Brie and also split a pizza. Both were delicious. We sat on the balcony and it was beautiful. Service was top notch. They even gave us more bread for our combination appetizer.

Bistro 220 was fantastic! They were able to accommodate our large group, worked with us to create a menu that was perfect for our group size & every element was executed perfectly. The service was great, our servers made sure we had everything we needed & were never 'in the way.' If you are in the Lake Geneva area, I'd... More
