Have been here before and was disappointed, but went again and was even more let down. The rude host that sat us the first time I visited now is serving drinks, and not a good choice personally for such a nice place. Why is the owner the only server? I'm confused by this cheap food that's over priced and "tapas"?... More

After reading such great reviews I was looking forward to eating here. My husband and parents decided to eat here despite not serving meals anymore and having "gone tapas". How misleading! You can't have tapas and entrees in the same title. It seems that they didn't want to serve real meals so they cut them in half and charge the... More

The tapas are delicious. My husband and I started with the scallops and lobster bisque soup. Both quite yummy. I would definitely have the scallops again. Then we went to the ribs, which fall right off the bone, and the chicken pasta dish. It had a fancier name but I don't remember it. The ribs will be ordered again. The... More

This is a cute place, but the service was a little slow. I got the bisque soup and it was amazing!! We both got the NY Strip steak and both were very fatty. Which is too bad because it had good flavor.

Had dinner here on one night during our stay. The place is not open every night and a reservation may be required. We were seated upstairs in a small room which was very dimly lit. The décor is also dark which makes it quite difficult to read a menu. Overall the food and service is good and there is plenty... More

My husband and I go to Lake Geneva every year for our anniversary, and found this restaurant last year. For the most part we enjoyed it, although the service was somewhat rude. We went back this year, thinking it would be different. We were so wrong! We walked in during an afternoon of shopping to make a dinner reservation. We... More

We went to Bistro 220 for drinks and appetizers, and everything was amazing! We sat on the upper patio and sitting outside in Lake Geneva at the end of October is pretty much unheard of. Bistro 220, however, has the upper deck covered by a clear, thick plastic and has outdoor heaters set up on each end. We were not... More

I have been to Bistro 220 in LG several times. I always thought it was one of the best restaurants in LG. I went last week with my wife and friends. We called late and could not get a reservation but the person said If we got there by 6:30 he could seat us right a way but they needed... More

We had a GREAT experience at Bisto220 this past June to celebrate my mom's special birthday. After looking at the menus of a lot of local restaurants I chose this place because of their fresh fish selection. Ken was so easy to work with for our special occasion as we were able to start out by having drinks & appetizers... More

Restaurant is upstairs in an old white house. Shops and a garden type entry downstairs. Seating on the upstairs porch or inside. Fascinating and very detailed decorated. Very nice higher end presentation and selections from the menu. Also a nice sized bar with a great atmosphere inside. Good sound system with a very eclectic music selection that also added to...
