My group was seeking to have lunch in an outdoor setting when suddenly the skies opened up with a downpour and I thought our lunch would be scrubbed. We saw this restaurant across the street and noticed it's covered porch which enabled us to still eat outside. The place advertises tapas, but I would getter describe it as small portions.... More

We loved it - perfect afternoon of tapas and wine on their comfy balcony. Excessive "drink warning signs" along their perimeter but it's probably a city requirement. Our 3 year old daughter was also happy and treated well too. Try shrimp and scallop dishes, and cheesecake was yummy!

Two of us had dinner. We shared a salad and a vegetable and each had our own entree. The salad and entrees were good but the grilled asparagus was a very skimpy portion. I don't think it is really tapas, as they claim, as much as just a la carte ordering to charge for side dishes. The upstairs patio was... More

I stopped on for an afternoon snack and prosecco. Compared to other food options in the area, the food was very good. I especially enjoyed the lobster ravioli. However, I have to say our server was so unfriendly. It was so bad I considered writing on my reciept that he could really benefit from an attitude adjustment. I was really... More

We enjoyed the combination appetizer with bruschetta, spinach artichoke dip and Brie and also split a pizza. Both were delicious. We sat on the balcony and it was beautiful. Service was top notch. They even gave us more bread for our combination appetizer.

Bistro 220 was fantastic! They were able to accommodate our large group, worked with us to create a menu that was perfect for our group size & every element was executed perfectly. The service was great, our servers made sure we had everything we needed & were never 'in the way.' If you are in the Lake Geneva area, I'd... More

We tried their martini flight before dinner on the balcony . Atmosphere was great in both locations. Bartender was very friendly and the food was great. A bonus was sitting on the second floor as a huge thunderstorm rolled in, great viewing

We went here for dinner with my husband and 3 kids (ages 8-14) after a recommendation from a friend. We were seated right away but there was a bit of a wait before our waitress came by. There was even a much longer wait for our food to be served considering they weren't busy that night. No kids menu so... More

Bistro's done up like a comfortable French country inn, with chandeliers and stone-like interior walls. The view's good outside, so ask for a table on the veranda. We liked the chicken cavatappi and loved the vegetable lasagna. Unlike the usual melange of bland vegetables, this dish had real zest: spinach, mushrooms, onions, ripe olives and artichoke hearts layered with cheese... More

It has been my first visit since the menu went tapas and we were very impressed as always. With many restaurants to choose from in the Chicago area, Bistro is still one of our top picks. Excellent service, the food is always great and served with style, and the atmosphere is very romantic and filled with class and detail you... More
