Our waitress was wonderful! Great service and great food--pasta was a bit pricey, but it was a large portion and tasted very good! Nice outdoor seating area too!

Best food in Lake Geneva and rivals any top restaurant. My wife is total foodie and we both noticed the subtle ingredients and careful preparation. She had the duck and I had the lamb chops with kalamata olive topanade mashed potato and spinach. I started with the beet salad and a glass of Cabernet. We were full but had to... More

Kale Cesar salad? "Chopped Up" salad which isn't a chopped salad? Avocado Cucumber soup which wasn't soup. The items on the menu sounded good and interesting but the reality didn't meet expectations. The soup was bland, oily, and was puréed to the consistency of dip. The kale Cesar was just bitter and wrong. The pastas were the bright side as... More

Best upscale restaurant in the heart of Lake Geneva. Has a sound problem if you are sensitive and outdoor dining on the sidewalk in the summer time

We were in Lake Geneva for the Memorial Day weekend. After watching the Blackhawks game at a local sports bar in downtown Lake Geneva, we walked to Sopra for dinner. We arrived around 9:15 pm. There were still a number of people seated at tables & at the bar. So there was still a good amount of "energy". This was... More

Chose Sopra for a more relaxed dinner option. Definitely the right decision. Pastas ordered were the gnocchi and the paperadelle ..gnocchi has a smoked mozzarella cream sauce that was a bit too smokey and creamy cheesey for my tastes. But the paperadelle with duck and leeks was perfect. Thanks to Aubrey giving us info on the menu choices. Ambiance was... More

From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. We love eating at the bar. Totally enjoyed the specials. The tuna tartare app was so incredible we got another one to go for a late night snack. A wonderful experience and highlight of our night out on the town.

It didn’t knock our socks off but was good enough to make for a pleasant dining experience. On a Saturday night, it was busy and noisy and service was a bit spotty but at least friendly. Appetizers (lobster wontons and warmed olives) were ok. Pastas were the preferred entrees at our table, and they were all declared to be delicious... More
