The place has a nice bar to relax before your meal. The food was very good and plenty of it. The server we had was from Bolgaria and was very freindly and did a super job.

After several terrible brunch experiences with family at assorted local restaurants over the last few years, I would like to thank the entire staff at Embers for a wonderful Mother's Day wxperience. The food was inventive and delicious! I would highly recommend to any and all!!

The waitress was complaining about a 2 dollar tip from another patron. I could hear the dishwasher. The food was average at best. Their signature item ribs was dry and ordinary. The waitress asked me if my dinner was ok. I had to agree. Get a hamburger somewhere you will be less disappointed. 42 bucks for just me. Yuck!

The best thing was the $5 cup of cauliflower soup. We spent about $65 on a hamburger, a cup of soup, and half chicken with mashed potatoes. Everything inside looked very old and dated. Plus the service was SLOW.

The bloody mary and eggs hollondaise were the best part about the brunch. There was very little variety and some vegetables would have been much apprecaited. For a 17.99 buffet I would have expected much more.

Skip the tourist trap restaurants on the main drag of the Dells. Continue driving until you swing into the parking lot of Wally's House of Embers. Open the door and appreciate the original menu, circa 1960, affixed to a bulletin display. Wow! Your jaw will drop when you note the price for a filet or a lobster tail, under $4.00!...
