This restaurant was built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. The ambience is lovely and the food excellent.

I have been dining at Fields for a couple years now and can honestly say I have never once had a bad experience. From the minute you walk in the door the ambiance will take you into a state of relaxation. Now I understand people are upset with the pricing. However, you are dining at an up-scale stake house in... More

While the food was good, it was over priced, the staff was snooty, there is a DRESS CODE that we did not know about! My 12 year old son had on a sleevess Nike shirt...not a tank top, but a shirt. He was told he had to put an adults large polo shirt on due to the dress code...which he... More

Wow - way too expensive for the meals they are offering. You would think you were paying for a 5 star restaurant in downtown Chicago. Service so-so....food so-so and prices - way to high!

Just got back from my first and last visit to Fields. My wife and I went for our 37th anniversary. Service was good, not great. Very disjointed. One person got our drinks. Another our appetizer. Still another our order. Table next to us received bread twice. I finally asked and we got some. One salad came with no dressing on... More

We recently vacationed at The Wilderness with our in-laws and we were given gift certificate coupons to this restaurant. Our father-in-law insisted we dine here (he is a sucker for coupons!) and we regret that we went here. The meals were very high in cost (on average $30). The steaks were extremely high ($35-$50) and completely not worth it. I... More

After a busy day at the Wilderness waterparks with my son and his friends, my husband and I had a nice "date night" at Fields. Since the kids were 13, we were able to leave them alone in the room with pizza delivery and we had a wonderful dinner. Fields is a fine dining restaurant but no need to dress... More

I loved the grilled onions and brie cheese over my perfectly cooked steak. Service was great. And it is one of my favorite places for a great steak. I found this to be a romantic restaurant too.

This is the fifth time I have eaten here and have not been disappointed. The food, service, and atmosphere is excellent. I ordered a steak and it was perfectly cooked. Others in the party also had steak and there were no complaints. It is pricey, but then again, it is the Dells and it is to be expected. I would... More

Wow. Disappointing is understatement. Pathetic service. Crap food. Had to keep asking for service. Better get some people who can cook steaks and serve food. Steaks were undercooked and quality inconsistent. I am experienced in field - this place is a overpriced farce!
