Quaint little place for a great breakfast

We were in on a Monday morning for breakfast on our way out of town, so it wasn't very busy. Their menu offers something for everyone at reasonable prices. We both ordered our breakfast and then split one of their bloody mary's (made with their homemade mix). We're big bloody mary drinkers, and I... read more

Went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Wasn't overly busy. On the up side; friendly staff, good portions, nice prices. On the down side; took over 30 minutes to get our breakfast, could have been a lot warmer when it came. Food tasted good just wasn't warm.

Clearly nothing special about the food here. The pancakes were rubbery and needed a knife to cut them. The eggs just ok, but the hashbrowns were crisp. The coffee was just ok.....when we left , we went to get some better coffee. The bakery was good...I liked the muffin I took to go and ate with really good coffee.

Quite a busy place. Kept clean. Service was pleasant, but it sure took a long time for our order to come out of the kitchen. The food was average, maybe we're spoiled, or we just have exceptional taste. So far, almost all of the reviews steered us in the wrong direction in LaCrosse. Maybe there weren't enough REAL choices? My... More

What a lovely restaurant & bakery. They are in a 1890 building that is on the Historical Site, City of LaCrosse. Food was wonderful after we finally decided what to have. They have daily specials and a large menu. Everything looked so good! Finally settled on Fish Taco's with black bean salsa, the soup of the day which was Southwest... More

We came to town for a charity bike ride and were told we "had to" eat at Fayze's. Out hometown has loads of great restaurants so we came in with tempered, but high expectations. We were not disappointed. The bacon eggs Florentine was the best I've ever eaten, the maple cinnamon roll was more than I could have dreamed and... More

This restaurant was a local hardware store for years and has been comfortably converted into a restaurant, maintaining the turn of the century ambiance. Staff is very knowledgeable about its history and very helpful with menu. Food is not your usual selections and every item is well done. We've been here several times, just about every time we visit LaCrosse.

We went here for breakfast and had a reservation for 10. They were able to seat us as soon as we got there. They have an excellent wait staff that was very helpful. We had 10 different menu items and they were all good - which speaks to the diversity of the menu and the quality of their food.

Excellent food and amazing service. Our waitress was one of the best we've ever had. The bakery selections were awesome and I reccomond the gyro omelet!

Always love stopping at Fayze's for their baked goods. Fresh and yummy every time! The chocolate mint bars are my all time favorite.
