I absolutely love the cappuccino Oreo ice cream. It is the only thing I get when I go to the Pearl. There are many different flavors, in addition to malts, shakes, and candy.

They make their own waffle cones. Have an old-fashioned candy counter. Wear adorable little old-timey outfits. There is nothing to dislike about this place! So much character, awesome service and delicious ice cream choices! I visit year-round!!

Unique old-fashioned ice cream parlor known for homemade ice cream, malts, shakes, and phosphate fountain drinks. It also has an area with old-fashioned candy. Definitely a must-see!

THe real deal. Lots of good flavors. Great candy, especially stuff you have not seen in a while. This place is not trying to be old fashioned, it never changed.

Nice clean place to get an ice cream cone after dinner at Buzzard Billy's. We stop EVERY time we're in downtown La Crosse for dinner. Good selection of ice cream and unusual flavors. All waffle cones appear freshly-made. The wide array of "dime store" candies always spawns conversation among my adult friends--like wax mustaches.

If you are going to visit La Crosse, historic downtown Pearl Street is a must. This old-fashioned ice cream parlor is the best in town and I go back over and over! Great homemade ice cream, chocolates, old fashioned sodas and atmosphere. I love The Pearl, as does La Crosse!
