AWESOME!! I have had and love their Alligator bites and love the Eggplant boat filled with seafood and cheese....they have a great menu to pick from and love the décor of the place. Staff was always pleasant and helpful when answering our questions. Sometimes you have to wait for a awhile to be seated but the wait is worth it.

As the only place for cajun food in LaCrosse, you just have to give these guys credit for trying. On top of that, the food is pretty darn good, too. Cold beer, fun atmosphere, friendly servers...it all adds up to a good time. Plus, you can work up a good sweat without moving around very much.

We met friends in La Crosse for a visit and was looking for something that wasn't available near where we live. Buzzard Billy's Flying Carp Cafe sure sounded unique and the ratings were good, so off we went. No one in our party of 4 was disappointed in anything about our experience. Service, environment, and food were all excellent. It... More

My work companion and I were in La Crosse on a business outing. When we meet, we often work while we're having dinner or drinks. Buzzard's presented a good opportunity in lovely downtown La Crosse to do just that. Relatively quiet setting, clean, good friendly service, and cold beer. Servers kept the beer flowing. The downside -- we were there... More

Thanks for the review! We do have Pearl Street Me, Myself, and IPA on tap which is an excellent IPA. I am sorry you missed it or were misinformed that the only IPA currently on tap is the Abita Jockamo. We do change up our tap selection frequently, the amount of IPA's may change periodically. We do have an excellent... More

We were here as a large group. The service was good. The food was excellent. It gets quite noisy in there when there are a lot of people which makes it difficult to hear each other. But that is how it is when it is a good restaurant and they were full for lunch.

It was just a drink and gator things for hubs. He liked them. My martini was super! The music was so low we couldn't hear. And so was the Monday night football. Strange. Seems like a fun hangout.

One of my favorite places to eat when traveling through La Crosse Wisconsin. One of the only places to get fried gator this far north - yum! Don't miss ordering Big Joe Weitekamp's Beer Cheese Soup, gator finger appetizers or a specialty diner. I'm working my way through the creole/cajun and blackened dinners. They never disappoint. Last meal was Rasta... More

So....there was a 60+ minute wait for Buzzard Billy's and the other restaurants were pretty empty.. The decision was to stick out the wait and we are so glad we did. The food is delicious and the wait staff friendly and very helpful. If you are in La Crosse you have to eat here! Delicious!!!!

Menu is eclectic and the prices are great. The street is so cool. We ate here in 2013. We will be back.

The food was pretty good with mid-range prices. We had gator fingers, the bayou platter, and seafood chicken au gratin. The portion sizes were huge and for the most part pretty tasty. The hush puppies and gumbo were only okay. Our service was less than stellar which definitely affected our opinion of the establishment. However, we didnt find a huge... More
