Cajun fun!

If you love Cajun food, this is a great place to go. Super po' boys. Awesome appetizers, too. Nice drink selection.

The armidillo eggs were good and filling. Entrees were ok, didn't really appeal to me. Yo much fried food. Server was very nice.

If you like Cajun food, this is your place. The po' boys are delicious and their Cajun nachos & buffalo shrimp are great starters. Or you could be braver than I and try the alligator!

No townie calls this place by its full name, just use Buzzard Billy's, but there really are "flying" carps in the dining area. They're attached to the ceiling fans which is pretty swell. The atmosphere is pretty great, but I've taken people here before and the wait staff has been pretty poor with their service. Slow on bringing drinks and... More

We were so happy to find this restaurant. Their Cajun menu did not disappoint at all. We shared a sampler platter and an order of red beans and rice. All was delicious but the catfish was incredibly good. Service was great, too. Nice, relaxing, casual atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

I gave this a 4 and not a 5 only because I am not a "hot and spicy/Cajun" eater. So, I had a difficult time finding something on the menu that I would like. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was very good! (and not spicy). My husband had a blackened steak and he really like it. This place... More

Wife and I went to Buzzard Billy's after a movie. We weren't all that hungry, so we ordered appetizers. I had Gator Fingers and she had Monsterella sticks. Really very good on both counts. Had to share the monsterella sticks. Too much for one person too eat. Try either, you won't be disappointed.

This place has a roomy and zingy atmosphere just blocks away from the Mississippi, only at the other end of the river from where the featured cuisine originates. Drink menu features famous NOLA Hurricanes (Big. Strong) Gumbo, Hush Puppies, even crawdads! Easy going place with long bar or many tables/booths for seating. Prices very reasonable too and fun to find... More
