Becoming a tradition

I live in La Crosse, but travel often. It is a regular occurrence for my friends and I to go to "Buzzards" before I leave. We always enjoy or meals and leave with leftovers due to the generous portions. Remember that this is not a typical Midwestern menu. Things have a bit of a kick. Prices are... read more

Been back a couple times. I got the Voodoo Tuna both times (rare). It is delicious! There is a delicious sweet cause over it. Comes with rice and veggies, but if you are feeling decadent they will sub mashed potatoes for the rice. Please don't order it overcooked! Medium rare is almost a little over done.

Although the place is known for its Cajun-inspired entrees, I always order the chicken philly poboy with fries because it's always sooooooo good. I never leave disappointed or hungry. If you love cheese as much as I do, don't forget to order the Monster-ella Cheese Sticks. Cheesy deliciousness!

Stopped in thinking it'd be a genuine unique place. Turns out this is a chain. I had the gator, overbreaded, under seasoned and very chewy. Atmosphere on the bar side is nice but it's a typical restaurant chain in my opinion.

There was hair in my pasta that was not mine because I don't have blond hair the waitress took it back and made me still pay for it.

We met our son to celebrate his birthday. We were seated right away and the server was very attentive to us without being too much of a bother. The menu features Cajun dishes but you can also find some standard offerings. My wife had the seafood chicken au gratin, my son had the blackened prime rib and I had the... More

We have eaten here a number of times and this time was with another couple. We all ordered different items and all were prepared great and were excellent. I always get the blackened chicken fettuccine alfredo and highly recommend this dish. I keep saying I am going to try something new but never end up doing it. It was a... More

The oysters were fantastic, as was the cowboy dip. The ambiance is fun. Great location right in downtown La Crosse.

We went here cause everybody that hangs out in that area recommended it. Was not good at all suppose to have Cajon food but what I ordered was so bland with no flavor my wife's was a different meal than mine but bland as well. I ordered a draft beer and it was warm to the point I didn't even... More

I am sorry for your experience. Did you mention anything to your server or the Manager and were any steps taken to correct? I see that you visited in July and did not review until January - is this correct? I would like to rectify the situation but need to know the day and time you were here, what you... More
