Appetizers are awesome

Wife and I went to Buzzard Billy's after a movie. We weren't all that hungry, so we ordered appetizers. I had Gator Fingers and she had Monsterella sticks. Really very good on both counts. Had to share the monsterella sticks. Too much for one person too eat. Try either, you won't be disappointed.

I brought a friend with me who has never tried southern cooking and moved to the US several years ago. She is now hooked!!

This place has a roomy and zingy atmosphere just blocks away from the Mississippi, only at the other end of the river from where the featured cuisine originates. Drink menu features famous NOLA Hurricanes (Big. Strong) Gumbo, Hush Puppies, even crawdads! Easy going place with long bar or many tables/booths for seating. Prices very reasonable too and fun to find... More

We stopped for lunch on 5/12/15. I had a salad and my lunch companion had a sandwich and fries. We really enjoyed the food. The waitress cautioned that my salad would be spicy, but I thought it was just right. The sandwich was equally delicious. We hope to go back soon for dinner and try some of their specialties. The... Once upon a time, I would have had nothing bad to say. However, Buzzard Billy's is not my first downtown recommendation anymore. The drinks are wonderful. The food is excellent. The waitstaff is adequate. The wait time for a table is horrific. I guess the wait for a table is just a testament to their food and drinks, however... if... More

Wing sauces are just okay, but the Alligator is excellent. The staff is friendly and down to earth. A pretty extensive beer menu also.

Great variety of Cajun dishes that have the right spice and just enough kick. Really enjoyed the oyster Po-boy and salted caramel cheesecake. Beware of the Arnold Palmer...the bar didn't mix it right. Way too much lemonade. I'll be back again and eat my way thru the menu!

Went with a group of 8. Really good service. Very large selection on menu and was hard to choose. All enjoyed their meals. Highlight was the appetizers. Get the fried crawfish tails!!!!

Very average restaurant with friendly service. I had the jambalaya and I thought that it lacked heat and spice.

Fairly authentic Cajun-style food considering it's in Wisconsin! We came in with a group of 31 people (had called in a reservation a few weeks prior) and the staff handled us with ease, including separate checks! The food was served hot and quickly by friendly staff. Drinks were kept full. My po'boy and hush puppies were delicious.
