We have a neighborhood restaurant we visit daily for eats and socializing. We have a new friend and wanted to treat him to something different and we chose Franks Diner as we really liked it the first and only time we visited. This time there was plenty of parking and no waiting. Last time we waited 30-40 minutes to be... More

Not worth the fuss! The food was average, place was crowded, not neat enough staff, and did not meet up to expectations.

As many other reviewer's have noted this place is kind of quirky, but the food is tasty and the atmosphere is crazy . Just when you think there is no organization, you find things are not as chaotic as they seem. The place is very small so if youre really hungry you may not want to wait for this experience, but you... More

One of our last hurrah's to end our 2014 Summer before the kids head back to school, we made a date to check out Frank's Diner in Kenosha, WI. It was a destination we had wanted to try since it had been shown on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives/Food Network, with Guy Fieri. Walked into the place with great expectations --however,... More

Frank's diner is one of those places that you just have to visit to believe. People love it, including myself...hence the long wait to be seated if you're not there before it opens. Having said that, the food, nostalgia, and quirky/"gruff" service style is worth it! Yes, they really do have a "garbage plate", but if you like everything but the... More

First time here and it was worth the wait! First off, get in line for a seat right away and do not go for the counter if you have long legs! The food was tasty and the atmosphere was great. Lots of conversations from the staff and a few announcements from the owner were very entertaining. One exchange - Customer... More

The food was delicious ... and worth the wait, although my daughter did get sick after eating it. This is probably due to the fact that she is not used to eating much fat ... and this was a traditional fat-filled breakfast ... really delicious! The homemade bread toast was fantastic, and the garbage plate was better than any skillet,... More

I drove 50 miles to try the famous Frank's Diner. To be blunt the service was not great and both our eggs and hashbrowns were under cooked. We passed Manny's in Twin Lakes to make this trip and should have just stopped their.

This elderly staff member was very rude, and almost derogatory towards the remainder of the staff. The food was not good whatsoever. My pancakes were extremely burnt and doughy. The omelette was very tough. Just to add, there should be no room for front line confrontation, a simple and kind gesture goes a long way. As for myself, I will... More
