Great cult dining experience

Want food fast or value personal body space? Have small kids who will melt down if they don't get food within 5 minutes of sitting down? Find another place to go. But for those who are patient and hungry a most unique dining experience! Frank's is an old train car converted to a 1950's diner... read more

Very cute atmosphere, a step back in time. The food was good, and much more than enough to feed you. But the prices were alittle high. It cost just shy of $25.00 for two of us for breakfast. I'm sure the host was meant to be kidding, but his brashness became trying. Definitely get there right when they open.

We went for breakfast on a busy Friday morning and sat at the only available seats- at the bar. The kids had a great view of the meals being made and we got to chat with the waitresses- who are a hoot. There was a shot of tequilla at 10 o'clock and we ordered mimosas- which were the size of... LOVE Franks! Great breakfasts, even simple things like eggs bacon toast and hash browns are heavenly. The pancakes are wonderful - but huge, just order one or two! Also love the french toast made on homemade bread or homemade cinnamin rolls. The place is also charming inside. But there isn't tons of seating, so try to come not during peak... More

Happened upon this place on the Food Network website as we were passing through Kenosha. What a find! The garbage plate was their claim to fame and now I know why! Yum! A ton of food! Go hungry to this teeny little rail car diner but don't watch them prepare the food too closely. Perhaps they ran out of hairnets... More

Entertaining and delicious. We are talking regular food for normal eating. Try the garbage plate. Everything is good and you never know who you'll meet at the counter

Franks is the best place for breakfast in the area. You can not go wrong with the garbage plate! They also have a great cinnamon french toast and the atmosphere can't be beat!! It's a great place

I stopped by with my kids for a quick meal. The garbage plate along with a bloody mary was great. The service is a bit slow, but it's a mom/pop type place. Neat experience for all of us. Prices a bit high but would still return.
