Sat outside, service started great. Finished our first drink and were waiting for the waitress, she was sitting down drinking at the table next to us. We asked if she was finished with her shift and she replied yes we needed to go inside and get our own drinks. Ok??? Then another waitress came outside and served the table next... More

I love the atmosphere and the names of their hamburgers. Fun joint, staff is very friendly. Nice location by the lake.

I love this place! Driving through Kenosha we came upon a sidewalk cafe/bar so we pulled over and discovered Captain Mike's. We were both carded (even though we are both over 50) this was due to some recent underage incidents I suspect. This place has a great system to ordering with a custom place your own order system. Service was... More

Captain Mike's is a regular place for my family and I. Be advised that Captain Mike's is classified as a bar so you must show ID and anyone under 21 will also have to show ID to prove that they are with parents. They also have a very small grill / kitchen area so there is usually a wait for... More

Great burgers, great beer, and great service. The staff will tell you up front that they don't wait tables for drinks and you have to go to the bar yourself for them. Although she said it wasn't overly busy so she took our drink order at the table. It is a busy place but is a must stop for great... More

On our way back from Milwaukee on a Saturday morning, my husband and I stopped at Captain Mike’s after having breakfast at the Coffee Pot. We both had one of their Bloody Marys with shrimp, cheese, mushroom, onion, olive, etc. Wow! Why did we eat breakfast? We sat outside and ended up staying for a few hours, having a few... More

A great variety of very flavorful burgers with awesome loaded baked potato salad. Same thing for the Mac & cheese! The kitty land shrimp app is awesome too! Weds they have oysters, which are large and come with a trio of garnishes. Captains has an impressive beer list and they make a mean bloody too! Soooooo the menu tells you... More

This is by far the best hamburgers anywhere. Also try the mac and cheese. I am very fussy about both mac & cheese and hamburgers. Never been disappointed with either at Captain Mikes. Truly the best in town. None come even close to this place

I'm a regular visitor to Kenosha, and have made Capt Mikes a frequent destination. The lake location is quite nice, and one of the few in the general downtown area. Known for their burgers and good beer selection, I concur generally above average. One area that needs attention is the service. On my last visit we waited at a table... More

This was my second time there and the burger was excellant. I also recommend the crab cakes. It's just too bad the place is always so crowded and the service is at best boarderline
