So, you've got to have a 'brat' - it goes without saying. The Brat Stop has been around for a long, long time. It's... a joint, closely akin to a dive, but, to each their own and some of my favorite joints are dives. What matters is the food and hospitality. You get exactly what you'd expect at the Brat... We wanted great brats, so we stopped at the iconic Brat Stop. As billed-- the brats are great but the side dishes were incredible! Try their wonderful potato salad (served in a cup) and the equally wonderful red cabbage. Both are worth the trip to this landmark of Kenosha. We also tried appetizers of wings and cheese curds. Neither of... More

What I fun place. If you are from out of state, or, like me, a Wisconsinite coming "home" after living somewhere else, this is a good place to get a good dose of Wisconsin. The brats and potato salad were very good. The atmosphere was great, and the connecting store was full of lots of good Wisconsin cheeses and other... More

I've stopped at this establishment many times. This past visit (June 2014) was somewhat of a let down. The food was still good but, the facility was not very clean. Everything from the bathroom, floors, counters, windows etc., etc.., all needed a good cleaning. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looked like. Our waitress was very helpful and professional. The... We stopped here on our way from Ohio to Milwaukee. I'm not a big brat fan but this place really makes a great brat! We had the Cajun and the cheddar jalapeño brats which were so juicy and flavorful. I loved the warm cheese dip and red cabbage. It was just fun to eat something different than I normally have.... More

The Brat Stop never lets me down. Wait time was longer than I expected with a couple of sections not open Tuesday 2;00 PM but, oh those Brats, can't be beat anywhere.

The Brat Stop was recommended to us from one of Mike's family members who grew up about 20 minutes from the Brat Stop. According to the menu, Brat Stop has been world famous since 1961. I ordered a Mai Tai, which was exceptionally prepared by our cheerful and delightful server, Liz. It was outstanding and came in a mug from... More

The best thing to do is buy brats in the store and cook them yourself. They are excellent , about the best you can find anywhere. Eating here is ok, but it can be loud, especially when they have live music. (Who woulda thought?) It's a local experience worth trying.

We stopped in to enjoy a live band that was playing on a Saturday night with some friends. The place is pretty large as it looks like additions were added on over the years. Pretty good size band stage and you can sit were you want and a small dance floor just below the stage. The food was decent and... More
