First trip hear this past week. We were pleased with the food, prices and service. They serve Irish food, both sandwiches and entrees. The bar looks very nice but we did not sit at it.

Nice Irish pub food along the Kenosha harbor. The harbor is about seven miles east of the interstate so if you exit interstate 94 on route 50, expect a 15 minute drive through the city of Kenosha before your arrive at the harbor town area. A more scenic route for those coming from Illinois is to come from interstate 94... More

My husband and I visited this for the first time and had a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant was not busy, probably because the taste of Wisconsin was going on just around the corner from them which we didn't realize. Had we known that we probably would've gone to Taste of Wisconsin, however we thought Ashlings was a great little... More

So we waited 20 minutes for the server to even take our drink order. Then it took him 10 minutes to bring our drinks. Said he was waiting for fresh coffee to brew, but my husband's coffee was Luke warm. I tried it to see because he likes things piping hit and it really was just barely warm and bitter.... More

One word... YUM! Ashlings on the Lough is the kind of place I go to treat myself! The sandwiches are around ten dollars and the entrees are from $15 to $20. This place clearly cares about taste and quality of serving great food. The staff is also very knowledgable about their products. I ordered a house wine, and the waitress... More

Our party of six was seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon without reservations. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, but not so attentive. The menu is very limited. Three of us had the fish 'n chips and they were ok. Two had the Ameche chicken sandwich - again, just okay. It took a long time for our food to... More

So I was super embarrassed by an experience we had at one of my favorite restaurants. We had some time between a wedding and the reception and those of us not in the wedding party needed somewhere to go. Someone mentioned Ashling's and I was gung-ho telling the out of town relatives how great this place is. My hubby, father... More

Fantastic setting right on Kenosha's Lakefront. Great choices at the bar and even better choices in the menu. Friendly waitstaff and it's not overly cramped with tables which makes it enjoyable. Shepherd's Pie is out of this world. I've been to England, Ireland and Scotland and I have to say, the recipes used here are truly from the Old Sod.... More
