Overall good food and service, but...

We've been coming here for years, and while the quality of the food and service has generally always been excellent, it seems to have gone downhill lately. Still, nothing wrong with the Guiness. The prices have always been a little on the high side, especially for dinner. This IS Kenosha, after... read more

Staff very nice and nice decor in the bar. Beautiful view of the harbour. Typical Irish servings which was presented well.

Great food and atmosphere. We had the sheppards pie, and Guinness chicken! Customer service is wonderful very personable. The view outside of Lake Michigan is stellar also.

There was no telling the place was even open on a Sunday evening at 8:30. We were five adults. Walked into a totally empty place except for several young guys sitting at the bar. we were not immediately greeted so we sat at a table in the bar/tv area and ordered drinks and looked at the menu. not a lot... I'm sad that I have to end my patronage of Ashling after being an avid fan for as long as it has been open. While the food has not always been consistent over the years, I have remained loyal. That ends today. Today is my birthday and I had looked forward to eating at Ashling to mark the occasion. My... More

Wonderful cusine! The largest bloody Mary I have ever seen, I was told it was GREAT, but I was too busy enjoying my Scotch to worry about the massive meal contained the bloody glass! A must if you are in the area

Spent a wonderful lunch here on a beautiful Saturday. Not crowded. Great wait staff. fish and chips were wonderful. and was able to substitute sweet potato fries for regular fries. Ruben was made with wonderful corn beef and piled high. Cheese cake was a nice addition for dessert. The restaurant looks out over a small harbor so you can look... More

We have eaten here a few times. The good is traditional Irish with a few twists. We love the bacon wrapped dates appetizer. Awesome!!! The food is always good and a fairly stable offering. The Shepard s pie is to die for!!!! If you are in kenosha this is a must.

We stopped in as we were on Kenisha's lakefront and had to walk by the outdoor dining area which was littered with cigarette butts. In through the door at first glance the place looked nice but while we waited for service at the bar had a chance to look a little closer. And closer. And closer. Yep you guessed it... More

Simply put, this is not the best Irish food I have ever had, but it isn't too bad. We started with the Bloody Mary happy hour special and I have to say it was impressive. In fact, it is almost a whole meal all by itself! As for the food, I had the Irish stew and it was delicious. One... More
