Tenuta's is a legendary Italian deli, which has a great smell of cheese and spices. In addition, you can get Italian beef and sausage, olives, pasta, and great Italian Bakery. Also, if you visit during the non-winter months, you can enjoy a multitude of offerings fresh from the grill. All of this, coupled with a huge wine, liquor, and beer... More

Breads, meats, desserts, cheeses, wines, etc. If it's Italian and you consume it, it seems you can get it here. We only made one brief visit but came away impressed. If you like a sweet, American-style cannoli, make sure to grab a few.

Aged cheeses, deli meats, sauces, wines, wines on red tag (two for one), chocolate candy - a must stop if you like food. This is the place to explore a LOT of Italian specialties. Tenuta's pulls in people from both Wisconsin and Illinois. A lot of boaters stop there to "pick up supplies" before they go to their boats. Great... More

Stopped at Tenuta's to see their cheese selection. Unbelievable choices, fresh Canoli, pasta, beer, SBD other Italian cooking necessities. Plan on looking at a large selection of deli choices.

We frequent this place everutime we come up north to see the mother in law. The first time we went to the actual resturaunt which looks like a little hole in the wall but it is phanomenal. Great pasta and wonderful pizza! It's not very big but they fobhave seating. The second time we came to Kenosha we went to... More

Jumpin' Jehoshaphat on a jellybean...I don't know where to start... This place (which is a market, NOT a restaurant) is very busy, but laid back at the same time. The first thing I did was grab an Italian sausage sandwich from the outdoor grill, made from a secret family recipe. Toppings are free for sandwiches, and the meat was so... More

Delicious outdoor grill/ restaurant with Italian food like no other. The grocery store is very unique with both ready made meals, pizzas and bakery items as well as an unbelievable variety of spices, pastas, meats, cheeses, sauces, wines, etc... One of my favorite places to go for any occasion as well as fabulous gifts.

The large market is absolutely amazing - filled with an abundance of wonderful, fragrant smells and food choices/groceries galore. Because we were in the market for lunch, we selected an eggplant panini for $5.99, a salad, and an assortment of cookies. The sandwich was basically bread. It include one paper thin slice of eggplant (I wondered how they cut it... More

Tenuta's is a gem of an Italian culinary prerequisites establishment. I can't summarize their offerings, other than to simply say that their range of prepared foods, traditional Italian pastries, cheeses, meats, sausages, relishes and pastas cover the full spectrum. If it's Italian and culinary - this is the place to get it. Even on New York's lower east side -... More

Having lived in Kenosha for many years, every time I am in the area, Tenuta's is a "must stop". Several bottles of wines (from an awesome selection), a cigar (from an awesome selection) and an authentic Italian deli (from an ... well, you get my drift). The aroma's and the selection are second to none - you won't be disappointed.... More
