If weather permits, you can't beat the view from the deck facing the Kenosha harbor and marina. Great coffee and excellent pastries top off a visit.
This is a great coffee shop where intellectual people hang out to do their chemistry homework, read the newspaper, or soak up the sun outside on the deck. Lots of different kinds of coffee and made to order sandwiches that are quite good. A Kenosha staple and consistently relaxing.
Wonderful coffee house on Kenosha Harbor. Serves great fresh brewed coffee and teas. I go with a buch of guys for lunch for their healthy sandwiches made to order. The patrons are a little bohemian, but that's how I like them. The service is prompt and very polite. The seating is a little yard sale-ish, but does not ruin the... More
Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, whether by yourself or with friends/family. The homemade cookies are fantastic! When the weather is warm, the deck is open to enjoy. Otherwise, lots of seating in different areas. Fun coffee/vintage décor. The Truffle Chocolate Hot Chocolate is THE BEST hot chocolate you'll ever have!
I went to get my morning cappuccino while visiting my son in Kenosha. The service was good and the cappuccino was great. A very relaxing place to sit and relax with great view of the lake.
Great espresso drinks as well as teas and chia. We even like the sandwiches, which skimp on the meat, but have delicious toppings and bread. The staff is friendly, the owner not so much. I hope this place stays around forever, as it is another feels-like-home establishment. The views Lake Michigan are magnificant!
Great hang out location, especially in warm days when you can sit on the deck overlooking the causeway and Lake Michigan, but also cozy on the inside in cold winter months, and by cozy I don't mean small, but makes you feel at home. The coffee shop has very distinct character in each of its seating areas, enjoy a game,... More
I go to Common Grounds every week. I love the location and atmosphere. Staff is pretty friendly. I have been disappointed with my drink a handful of times, though. I would recommend their Chai over anything else. Also have yummy build your own sandwiches. Bakery items aren't great, but I do work at a bakery so my standards may be... More
