I felt like I was back in Deutschland. 10 stars!!!

When I stepped down the stairs, I was transported back to the many Gasthauses I visited over several years living in Germany. The salads were fresh - marinated in the various sauces I remember from Europe. The beer and wine selection was great! I had a Radler (beer and lemon/lime) and recommended... read more

It's a great place to eat at with family and friends. They can certainly accommodate large groups of people. I would suggest if its going to be more than 12 I would call ahead to make sure they have the room, especially if its between 5:30-6:00pm during the weekend.

The Goulash my wife had was excellent the schnitzel cordon blue I had was ok. I would try sausage next time. The place was German in every way and had polka music going the whole time. Great atmosphere. Would try again.

This little restaurant has the best and most authentic German food you will find in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. Everything on the menu is very good and the variety of German beers on tap is excellent. Service is always excellent. The atmosphere is what really brings it all together. You can't go wrong with an evening out here.

This restaurant is by far, one of the most amazing gems in the area. Who would have thought we'd have a world-class German restaurant, with all of the warmth of a old-world pub, right in our back yard?! Marie and all of the folks at Winzer Stube, make you feel as if you're dining in their home. The food is... More

It's always great when you can find a wonderful place. We don't often eat German food even though I am of German descent. I had never heard of Hudson Wisconsin until the day I stopped in for my schnitzel! The prix Fixe dinners are $15 exactly for a three course meal including dessert but not including drinks. It was a... More

Awesome! This is the best German food in the area. My brother and I have traveled extensively in Germany and this is where we go to eat German food. Their hefeWeiss is good too.

While visiting Minnesota and Wisconsin, went out of our way to dine at the Winzer Stube. The Kolsch bier was excellent. My husband loves the herring appetizer. My husband also had the Wienerschnitzel that was excellent. I enjoyed the Cordon Bleu Schnitzel that was also very good. Red and white cabbage and spaetzle also very good. Very authentic German experience.... More

My husband and I took our family to Winzer Stube a couple of weeks ago. We were somewhat disappointed in the food. The salmon was overcooked, the pork chops were dry, the sauerkraut was not prepared to our liking, it tasted like it came out of a jar and heated with a bit of caraway. We are of German heritage... The Cream of Mushroom Soup is by far the best I have ever had. The warm bread that comes with it is easily eaten alone or I dip it in my soup....The food is always delicious here not matter what you choose!
