We had been to Jacobi's maybe 15 years ago and remembered that it was a great steak place. The meat is melt in your mouth good and done perfectly. The rest of the menu looked really good but we were there for steak!

For me this is a fairly standard North Woods restaurant restaurant. Most people think more highly of it than I do. It is also relatively expensive for the area, but without justification as to food quality or ambiance for me.

Jacobi's is an friendly, intimate and charming restaurant. It is a bit off the road but easy to find. If you want a special evening in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere - this is the place.. The food is great. Small appetizers are included with the entrees. The drinks are good and the service is always superb.

We celebrated our anniversary at this local favorite, and it was wonderful. I had chicken and scallops with artichoke hearts over linguini, and it was delicious! And the mushroom and rosemary soup was terrific, thick with mushrooms. My husband had their special, chicken with pecan honey. For dessert he had a delicious creme brulee and I had a melt-in-my mouth... More

We have dined at Jacobi's at least once a year for the past 20 years. Joacobi's is about 5 min from home and very convenient. We've had great meals there, and, unfortunately, not so great meals there. That's why we don't eat there more often. Tonight, the food was good....Not exceptional, but very good. But on a Monday night, when... More

Always known for their their great steaks they have a wonderful chicken Parmesan special every now and then, and their chicken Marsala is to die for. Yes, I eat here a lot, and I have reviewed before, because they are the best.

This restaurant is just a bit off Highway 51 next to a small lake and in the woods. It is an older building but I think it's charming, and it has the feel of a historic house. I agree with the reviewer who loved the steak gorgonzola -- yum. Also their walleye is excellent. The old style bar has a... More

I have eaten at Jacobis several times each year over the past 15 years. The food has always been excellent and the service is far above average for the area. The filet is the best that I have had in the northwoods. Wonderful twice baked potatoes. The best coconut cream pie! I can't wait to return soon. I suggest ignoring... More

“First time dining experience @ Jacobi's” Pending review Despite the 30 mile trip, my wife and I were really looking forward to our first dining experience at Jacobi's for our anniversary, given all the positive reviews.
This is what we found:
1)The place hasn't seen a coat of paint in 20 years.
 2) The interior decor looks like my grandmother's... More

This was the special Saturday night. What a gastronomical delight. The flavors exploded in your mouth. My goal was to take half home for the next day, I failed. Ate it all right there. I am never disappointed eating at this place. Recommend highly.
