The service was fast and friendly , the pancake of the month was interesting, with walnuts cranberries and wild rice. I had the omelette with wild rice , ham and cheese, great taste with a lot of wild rice, I would highly recommend it. The size of the portions were huge. We are going to stop whenever we are in... I ate at Robin's Nest for breakfast one day while visiting Hayward for a weekend. Overall, I thought was a unique and local place to grab a bite to eat. It's rather a long drive from "downtown" Hayward, about 20 minutes. We were recommended to this place for breakfast, which is why we went. Because it is basically in the... More

We always go to the Robins Nest several times during out annual visit to Hayward. We are never disappointed! The pancakes are incredible. My boys love the pit ham and the bacon is thick and smoky. The servers are friendly and attentive. Go early!

We have now been to the Robins Nest on 3 separate occasions at different times of the year and have concluded, no more. Food is average at best. Service slow and we are not in any hurry just noticeably slow. Ordered 2 oat meals , an egg over easy, and a gluten free pancake to be adventurous. 25 minutes later... More

This is a regular Sunday brunch stop for us. A great menu variety, well prepared, delicious food, and a family atmosphere. Usually very busy early in the morning (or most of the time) but well worth the wait.

We have been here twice for breakfast and have been pleased both times. Both locals and vacationers flock to Robins Nest which has large portions and more than your normal breakfast selections.

The breakfast was above average with good ham and potato pancakes but the coffee was very weak. I'm not a "bitter is better Starbucks fan" but this was just weak, bad coffee. Service was also slow and somewhat unresponsive, had to ask for our bill for a second time from a second waitress.

This place is great! The food and service were great. There's a very small town local feel which I love and I'm sure they are going for. Next time we head to Hayward we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great family meal!

This was my second time here, for breakfast. They have the biggest breakfast menu I've ever seen. I would say it is a home town diner type of joint. They have all the standards on the menu, plus all kinds of non typical offerings. Also, they do have booze, so don't forget to get a bloody. Or a screwdriver. We... More

Lots of variety for breakfast and lunch. Always perfectly prepared and the best crispy hashbrowns ever. Pancake of the month selection and great french toast. Breakfast cocktails and beer available. It's Wisconsin after all. Trust me on this one.!
