We stopped in here after a little league game and it was like stepping back in time or like being in Europe in a family run place. Friendly prompt service with terrific entree's. My wine was served perfectly but hubs thought the Bloody Mary was very, very so-so. Rhubarb pie was Delish! We'll be back for sure.

Once upon a time, a very popular supper club featuring Swiss style entrees. It still has a following, but circumstances and funds must have precluded any updates to decor in restaurant and restrooms. It's too depressing for me any more.

The atmosphere, quiet and quant. Excellent German cuisine, tables are set perfectly, and the drinks are great.

Hadn't been there in years and went back for Friday night fish. The baked cod itself was good for the price. But the sides were simply bad. The coleslaw was too vinegary, the potato salad was very mediocre and unnecessary, since there's already a potato with the meal. We had a surprise $2 charge per person on our bill at... More

Margaret has done a great job in keeping with the tradition at this Hartland institution. The Friday fish fry is plentiful and delicious. For only a $1 extra, you can get a think homemade potato pancake. They do offer take-out for a great meal on the go.

My husband and I stopped going to the Hartland Inn after two bad experiences, back to back. So, after almost a year and a half we went back last Friday night for fish fry. I am happy to report that they are back up to snuff and it was very enjoyable. Drinks are good, resasonably priced, bar service is speedy.... More
