Everything tasted horrible. Yeah the chicken was moist but the sauce tasted like it was canned. My husband and i were to nice to send it back, so we came home and puked. Would never go back again. Worst Mexican place in gb.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and we were very pleased with the food. The only complaint I have is they are slow to refill drinks. The prices are very reasonable and I recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food.

It's hard to find good Mexican food anywhere in Wisconsin (yes, even in Milwaukee), but El Sarape is pretty good with a few exceptions. The decor is typical of what you would expect (overly decorated) but clean and neat. Service, from the hostess to the waitstaff, was friendly and prompt. Complementary chips and salsa were excellent (loved the kick). Portions... More

One of my favorite Green Bay stops in El Sarape. A local favorite. If you can start with a Michelado made with a Corona beer. These are worth the trip by itself. Have a designated driver and go nuts with these! The start here is with complimentary chips and salsa. Two kinds of salsa. Fresh and tasty. The entrees are... More

I have my personal favorite Mexican restaurants that I have tried all over the country and this one is pretty high on that list. I was looking around at other diners as I was waiting to be seated and holy moley they have some huge servings. Burritos sizes put Chipotle's to shame. I usually like to try carnitas at new... More

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I had the steak burrito and my wife had the beef burrito. Very large portion, couldn't finish. Their Mexican food is more authentic and considerably better than the TexMex chains. Will definitely be back.
